The lambskin is extremely soft and supple. No Fufu smell when received and being that I am new to the Chanel rep world I would happily state the quality is perfect. The chain and hardware all feels sturdy and good quality.  I have babied this bag due to it being lambskin and iridescent and have had no issues with scratching or wear on corners yet (have carried bag approx 10-15 times).

  • Really good quality! It's been a hot minute since I've walked into a Chanel boutique and felt up a boy but this is a very well constructed bag (and it should be considering how much I paid for it).
  • Leather is very soft with a faint leather smell out of the box but I still put on a coat of cadillac leather conditioner and it feels more luxurious after a coat.
  • Hardware feels sturdy and well made but my biggest pet peeve about the bag is that the links on the chain twist and kink very easily. (-1.00)

At long last - she's finally here!

This is my second purchase from Heidi and 187. This item was shipped via Canada Post and had a 6-week delay. Canada Post said that they had never received this and sent me an official letter saying that they did a physical inspection of their depot and that they unfortunately have deemed the item 'lost'. About a week and a half later, on Nov 2, I decided to just check the tracking to see if it said 'lost'. To my great surprise, it said "Received by Canada Post". Unfortunately, this is where the excitement ends.

Quality 10/10 -

Leather 10/10 - I love smooth, soft leathers, so this is the bag for me! I've never felt the auth so I don't know if it's feels accurate. No fufu smells, it smells like leather. The color looks great, I haven't seen this bag in social media or reviews on youtube... So I'm just going to assume it looks the same as the auth. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hardware 10/10 - The hardware on this bag is beautiful! I love the color and the sounds it makes. It has great detailing like the auth. Of course the handles do fall but I'll MacGyver something to make them stand up better.

Zipper 10/10 - Opens and closes smoothly. The handle of the zipper is made with the same leather as the pocket and inside of the bag.

Stitching 10/10- Each heart quilt has 30 stiches, 36 on each diamond. They look very consistent, I'm lazy and not very patient haha, so I didn't check the other quilts, this bag has so many!

Comparison Photos

Leather Quality: The leather feels exactly the same. S Factory has a bit more of a sheen. 187 has no sheen at all. I was a bit underwhelmed as I thought 187 King would feel like butter? It’s soft but had no wow factor to me. Maybe with a couple coats of conditioner and some wear it will soften up? I have heard in YouTube videos that the auth is also more durable than typical Chanel Lambskin. The leather on the inside of 187 is very soft while S is not as soft.

Leather Color: 187 got the color right, it has pink undertones. S Factory is more on the brown side although it has a little bit of pink undertone, but not as light and pink as it should be. I haven’t seen a factory get the color right like 187 has. The color was nearly impossible for me to capture for both bags ( I don't know how others capture the auth color so well), but believe me when I saw 187's looks exactly like the images I see for the auth.

LGHW: The CC on S Factory is less shiny than it should be. The LGHW is more correct on 187, while S Factory is a tiny bit more gold. It is less noticeable when comparing the chains, but when comparing the CC it is more noticeable. Both have grommets that match the color of the chains (I have read one 187 review where this was not the case).

Stitch Count/quilts: 187 has a consistent 10 stitches per diamond and S factory has 9. Since there are 10 stitches per count on 187, the quilts are less puffy which is more correct. Some people like puffy quilts, but authentic Chanel quilts are not as puffy as S Factory. The high stitch count is one reason I will only buy 187 from now on.

Weight of bag: 187 weighs 1lb 7oz and S Factory weighs 1lb 6.5oz.

Hi guys! I wanted to share this reference post for anyone interested in purchasing a Chanel Classic Flap 25cm from 187 Factory (King version).

I purchased this bag from TS Heidi for USD.620 including shipment.

When I first received this bag I was blown away by the quality and attention to details,

The only major difference I saw was the chains, 187 chains are thicker and heavier, the auth chains have thinner leather, lighter chains and they glide smoothly. That’s the only issue I found in this bag, everything else is almost 1:1.

Back story: I have always adored Chanel. I love everything about it: the bags, the shoes, the aesthetic, etc. I started to have my own collection and I was so proud of it. · Leather: I’ve never held any genuine Chanel items before, so I can’t say how this compares to the real thing. However, I do find the leather to be squishy and to be a pretty good quality for what I paid for. I plan on using some conditioner and seeing if it looks even better.

Accuracy: 5.05/10

· Leather: (-1) The leather on the tongue is noticeably a different leather than the one used for the rest of the wallet. It has more of a grained texture in comparison. It’s pretty obviously different especially in good lighting.

· Hardware: (-0.1) For the CC logo, the ends of each C should be reaching closer to each other. Color of logo seems to be fairly accurate. A light gold that can almost look silver in certain lighting.

· Exterior Front

o (-0.25) The tongue is not as puffy as the auth (probably due to the different leather used)

o (-0.5) The stitching does not all line up coming down from the flap to the body

o (-1) The quilts/diamonds are not correct. Everything needs to be up higher by at least 1cm.

o (-1) Pocket placement is way too obviously off. It looks to me like it should be about 1cm up higher.

o Stitching kind of lines up. Just a hint off. Won’t take points off for that.

10/10 - 187 bags just FEEL luxe. My previous 187 purchases have been caviar because 187 is known to have the most accurate caviar leather, but I’m glad I took a chance on the 187 lambskin. I’ve seen some reviews saying S factory lambskin is better than 187 but having seen and felt both, I have to say I still think 187 is the winner (I’m sorry to say, for your wallet and mine)!

Chanel Lambskin Quilted Mini Square in White Iridescent with SHW

• Quality Assessment: Good mid-tier rep from Yoyo factory. A little squished from being shipped – some creasing along the bottom and curving on the sides (see photos), I’ve given it a gentle massage with Cadillac conditioner to help reshape it and think it will bounce back once it gets a little use and has things inside of it. Iridescence is a pretty pearly white with flashes of green/pink but not overly green. A few small dark specks on the inner flap – see photos. Chain and hardware have good weight. Quilting and flap look even to my eye, but please do your own QC. Never used by me.

Hello, brothers! A month ago I received my EA and have already joined my first stated after. During the stated I wore my lambskin apron again, but it was commented a few times that it wasn’t necessary to wear it to anything but other ceremonies (installations, initiations, etc.).

I did see other brothers in lodge wearing a cloth apron, which we have a rack of for anyone to use, so I’m curious about this groups’ thoughts on this. Being an EA I don’t see wearing one of these cloth ones as very practical due to the flap, but would I really stand out for wearing my initiation apron?

Of course everyone said it was fine to wear, but I heard several comments which made me think what I was doing wasn’t correct. Do any of you guys (obviously not pertaining to officers) wear your current degree apron to all meetings?

Wow, this bag is truly stunning. Alisa was not lying when she said 187 had the best lambskin omg. 187 is really top tier. You can immediately feel the luxuriousness in the bag and leather. This is what really sets 187 apart from other factories. They has literally brainwashed me into thinking this is truly an authentic Chanel! The stitching is very neat and clean, the stamping is very crisp. The chain strap is heavy and overall bag has a good weight to it. The pictures truly do it no justice honestly in person the bag is gorge.

THE FREAKING LAMBSKIN OMG. I was so worried when I heard 187's lambskin was dry and isn't the best (from past reviews). BUT I can assure you ladies this is SOFT AND BUTTERYYY. I've owned authentic Chanel lambskin and while this isn't as "soft and squishy" as the authentic - this feels soft and delicate enough - given the fraction of the cost compared to authentic I can't complain.

Let me say this

This is my third purchase - but perhaps I’ll call it second, since I haven’t received the second one I bought yet - from Heidi and 187. I have a few favorite colors when it comes to my clothing/general color palette: black, brown, burgundy, grey, and navy. I have been on guard for these from Heidi’s website, which in my opinion, is 1098309485x better than the Szwego albums that, no matter what, you seem to always end up being bounced to the top of the page of after 30mins of scrolling lol

Although when I was about to purchase a classic flap in Italy in 2013, it was significantly cheaper (I’m talking ~CA $3,000 after VAT refund), after receiving this beauty from 187, I am 100% sure that I prefer being able to spend the 187 price points, and wear this without fear of scuffing it or babying it. I get great wear for $ and I’m confident in what I wear/carry. It matters 0% to me whether or not someone judges me because I buy replicas - I just save a lot and it’s my personal preference. I’m confident in my lifestyle and financial decisions. Anyone that judges you is likely very insecure.
