OTD in 1977, Malaysian Airline System Flight 653 is hijacked during a flight from Subang to Singapore and crashes near Tanjung Kupang after both pilots are presumably shot dead by the hijacker. All 100 people on board are killed. The motives and the identity of the hijacker remain unknown.
