Nothing else to hear here, move along.
I just wanted to take a moment to bring attention to how brilliant this game's composer, Darren Korb, is. Hades' soundtrack is simply incredible and has so much range. The driving rock that makes boss battles so exhilarating, the earwormy percussion in Tartarus, the emotion in the ballads of Eurydice and >!Orpheus!<, the haunting melody in Thanatos's theme, the final battle theme, I could go on. His music always mirrors the tone and themes of each situation and character perfectly. It builds such a distinct soundscape and identity for the game. He was also the composer for Supergiant's previous titles like Bastion and Transistor, doing a similarly stellar job each time.
On top of that, Darren Korb is also the voice of Zagreus himself! Needless to say, his performance is amazing. His voice has a warmth and subtlety that really brings the character to life. There is a wealth of dialogue in this game to say the least, and his delivery never falls flat. He also voices Skelly, and who doesn't love Skelly?
This guy is such a talent and I just felt the need to talk about it. Hades is really something special, and that is due in no small part to this man's work.

Iโm sure this has been posted before but I havenโt seen it (am newer to the sub) but holy shit Korb is crazy talented. Not only did he voice our guy Zagreus (among other voices) he also made the damn soundtrack to the game! Considering how unreal the soundtrack is this is a phenomenal feat.

I just learned that Darren Korb is American and that heโs voice acting using a (non-native) accent.
Iโm curious if anyone more versed in accents than I am (read: not at all) could tell? If so, what gives it away?

So da wir alle im Neuland sind habe ich meine aktuelle Flamme รผber ein soziales Netzwerk nach einem Treffen gefragt und eine ziemlich gut begrรผndete Absage kassiert. Das hat mich sehr gefreut und ich bin sehr glรผcklich, dass ich es zumindest probiert habe. Konnte die ganze Zeit, als ich auf ihre Antwort gewartet habe an nichts anderes denken und es war wie eine Erlรถsung, auch wenn ihre Entscheidung ja dagegen war. Nur doof, dass ich mir jetzt eine neue suchen muss.
