Which antibiotics is better to get rid of a stubborn UTI caused by Klebsiella. Augmentin or ciproflaxin? I’m a male btw don’t know if that matters.

I am very confused reading the literature on K. pneumoniae. It seems that researchers either use clonal complex or clonal group or just clones to define groups of K. pneumoniae sequence types, but I can't figure out the difference between these terms. Help is much appreciated.

I had done a chest xray due to high esionophils, the doctor said that do a chest xray and sputum culture and sputum esionophils count.
Esionophils count came to be negative. Chest Xray showed hyperinflation of lungs(i am a non smoker). But my pcp said chest xray looks normal only even I confirmed it from 2-3 pulmonologist. Now, he asked me to do a PFT, which showed to have early small airway obstruction but the various pulmonologists said that it’s fine and reversible, and said instead of copd its more like asthmatic tendency (given my ige is 440, esionophils are 10.5% and my mother is asthmatic).
The fev1, fvc and ratio came out to be normal, fev1/fvc was 77.6% and after meds it was 78.15%.
Now, my sputum culture comes up and it shows heavy growth of k. Pneumoniae, So my pulmonogist started me with a course of ceftum 500mg twice a day for 5 days(today’s the 4th day). My symptoms have become better than before but the cough doesn’t go completely and also a little whitish phlegm(mucusy) comes up and i need to clear my throat multiple times..
I am just 24, m worried why is this happening to me. Also there’s an issue of oral pigmentation both the sides in my cheek but dentist says that its not cancer for sure and there’s a small firm(size of a lemon seed) lump in my right side of neck on SCM muscle and it can’t be seen from outside but when i turn my neck and touch it it feels firm but not tender, also when i palpate it it moves. No pain whatsoever.
M really getting worried why all these things are happening.. :( M really scared

Just received positive results for Klebsiella Pneumoniae. According to the urine culture it is intrinsically resistant to Ampicillin and Ticarcillin. I’ve also had vaginal irritation during intercourse and headaches. Not sure it’s related to K. Pneumoniae.
Does anyone who’s had K.Pneumoniae also have an IUD (Mirena)? I feel like I’ve gotten multiple UTI’s, bacterial infections and E.Coli since the IUD. But I’ve also read that certain bacteria live in your gut, fecal matter and never really goes away, even after prescribed antibiotics. I keep getting UTI’s and it’s frustrating!
Has this affected anyone’s sex life? Vaginal irritation/pain during intercourse is not that fun.
