Gift Ideas for Nepalese Family/Kids in Khumbu
I will be traveling to Nepal next week and will be staying a family's house in the Khumbu valley. They have young kids (4-8ish) and I am wondering what might be a good gift(s) to bring them that are also moderately light-weight. Any suggestions here are greatly appreciated!

Tenzing–Hillary Airport also known as Lukla Airport, is a small airport in the town of Lukla in Khumbu. The airport is popular because Lukla is the place where most people start the trek to Everest Base Camp. There are daily flights between Lukla and Kathmandu during daylight hours in good weather.

Deep crevasses and towering walls of ice within the notorious Khumbu Icefall frequently shift or collapse during the course of an expedition, crushing ladders and ropes. Late in the expedition, this section was completely destroyed, requiring the Icefall Doctors to replace everything. (2016)
TIL there is an Everest Marathon. It starts at the Mt. Everest Base Camp, at 5365m above the sea level, and moves through the high Sherpa trails of Khumbu Valley. It is considered to be one of the highest and toughest races in the world.

Going Through The Khumbu Icefall is Like a Game of Russian Roulette - You don't want to be standing there when a serac crashes down. Photo taken by me in May 2016, at an altitude of about 18,000 feet, Mount Everest, Nepal. I was also there in 2014 when a serac avalanche took the lives of 16.
