Well, here to find people to talk with. Friendship too. At least that's the hope. Nothing is automatic and nothing happens without effort and communication so I'll do my best on my end.

While I hope to gain people to talk with off of Reddit, I'll want to talk on here first. Please do send me any contact information unless it's asked for.

I'm married. I've always lived in the same country. I like long messages and questions (the more for me to answer the better haha). I'm not a fan of text talk and Bitmoji, but I do like emojis and emotes. I like to read and listening to audiobooks is just as awesome. Watching TV shows and movies is something I really like to do because I can watch and do other things at the same time. I love rainbows.

Just bought a cheap jute rope carpet for my buns, the tag says "100% jute" however i am not sure if it's treated or not, one of my buns "Bouncy" is an obsessive muncher and had already taken a few bites of it, should i assume the rug is safe or should i take it away?

I read a study saying 38% of ancestry in eastern England is from continental Germanic groups but I am unsure if anyone has a more accurate figure.

I've been asked to create something using jute yarn / rope and it's working great for the purpose!

Except ....... it smells.

Now I've read that soaking it a few minutes in diluted vinegar will help with that but does anyone have any experience with this? Would you do so with the unworked yarn or with the project (might help with blocking even). Problem with finished object is that it's got metal (or perhaps wood) components , don't want rust / rot :)

I’ve got a huge jute rug that has somehow stretched into a wonky shape that drives me NUTS. Is the rug irreparable or is there anything I can do to restore the rug to a normal, rectangular shape?
