A list of puns related to "Invulnerable"
Hello,
Iβve been playing with one of my friends that just throws I-NOβs (quarter circle forward 2), and canβt really figure what can i do against it. Is there a punish for it or maybe a way to go around it?. Because Its kinda frustrating, anything i throw gets mid crushed.
I find it equal parts amusing and alarming that, being a daily commuter, I see more often than not people diving into crosswalks without looking up from their phones, or gauging the distance of cars that are already in motion. I get that peds have the right of way, but youd just think university students can get a better grip on navigating safely.
I feel like making the healing fountain entirely invulnerable is a bad move. I understand it stop people from cheesing the fountains at level one but I don't think this is a good solution. It removes a lot of strategy from the game and makes the game less dynamic.
I think the healing fountains should become breakable after the front wall is destroyed. This would stop anybody from lvl 1 cheesing the fountain but also allow fountain strategy such as pre-sieging for fountain before obj(obviously its technically do-able but less likely to happen).
This would also be the most reasonable fix because originally the wall was the only thing stopping you from destroying the fountain aside from a few maps that had walkarounds.
I find it equal parts amusing and alarming that, being a daily pedestrian, I see more often than not people driving into crosswalks without looking up from their phones or blowing stop signs. I get that self-centered drivers want to race their 2-ton death machines on a college campus without concern for human life, but you'd think they could get a better grip on navigating safely

Just basically a vent, but... What the actual hell. I get sent to do a thing, then I get chased by these two wankers, and they're invulnerable?!
Rogue Cindarella just stops taking damage at like, 20% HP, and Red Dog never stops taking damage, but even with his VP bar at nothing, he won't go down.
That's... That's just special. I'd sure like to get my hands on that flash "can't die" upgrade the Western VII are apparently rocking.
For instance, if i have a unit of Tau Crisis suits and one has a shield and i get shot at by a unit that has enough armor piercing to negate the save roll of the other suits.
let say that this human is average joe with average build but his skin can't be destroy at all. it can be stretch as far as normal skin goes but won't tear under any circumstance. His flesh and bone is still normal though
Edit : Only small arms, not artillery one
The Invulneravility is pretty inconsistant. In one episode she has to run hundreds of yards away from Lucifer, for him to become invulnerable (season 2), but then in another episode he is invulnerable, even though she was in the elevator on the way up (season 4)

So far I've only played 4 or 5 matches of Quickplay and 1 time in the ranked mode I believe. I am unable to receive damage from any player not matter how many attack me at once. I can damage and kill them just fine, however.
So this is completely a theory but I've seen more and more talk these days about the abundance of invulnerable saves and the rising number of ignoring invulnerable saves. So my 10th Ed conspiracy theory is the introduction of the triforce of invulnerable saves.
Skill - Technology - Faith
These three will be used to differentiate between how a model generates its defense. Ragnar follows the 5 D's of dodge ball. Tau crisis suits generate force fields. Chaplains are protected by their faith in the Emperor. These can be given a corresponding type of attack that they lose their invulnerable status to, but that shit gets too complex for right now.
Skill saves are the strongest, the fewest number of attack types make it obsolete, they could dodge a railgun for example. Faith is next, few more options for attack types that can remove your invul, railgun / warp based attacks could also cancel eachother out maybe. And Tech invulnerable saves, the most abundant, but no protection from "ignores" keyword. I may be crazy, but I've predicted stupider things.
What youβll need for this are:
A level 20 or higher wizard with the boon of high magic or a spell gem(diamond)β¦ and nothing else really.
You can use one of your 9th level spell slots(or the spell gem) to cast invulnerability, then use wish too create a simulacrum of yourself. Simulacrum copies your statistics, and according to the MM (on page 7) immunities are a statistic. Since the invulnerability spell gives you immunity to all damage, your simulacrum is now also immune to damage. And since the simulacrum doesnβt constantly update its statistics based on yours, when you lose such immunities, the simulacrum doesnβt.
Another fun thing you can do with this is make a clone of yourself using wish while you have invulnerability up, then 120 days later, die and go into the clone body, which is now invulnerable, but Iβm unsure if being invulnerable to damage would count as an ability, though under the English definition of the word it would. There might be a 5e definition that I am unaware of.
But thatβs all, enjoy being unable to take damage.
Edit: Wish also grants a few immunities, but those are special traits. Luckily, special traits are also statistics according to page 10 of the monster manual, and those special traits specifically are abilities by the definition of the word in English. Thus, use wish with infinite simulacrum to make yourself immune to every detrimental spell, including counterspell, dispel magic, and antimagic field. Then, use simulacrum while immune to those spells, thus making your simulacrum or clone unable to be affected by them. Perfect for making a simulacrum that essentially counts as non-magical, or which you don't want dispeled or killed.
Edit 2:
You don't even need the boon or a spell gem, just to start casting invulnerablity any time that is less than 10 minutes before your long rest ends, then cast wish once it does end. Because according to the phb, you can do up to just under an hour of strenuous activity during a long rest and never interrupt it
Edit 3: You'll need to glyph invulnerability for this, but if you do, you can use shapechange alongside it to turn into a berbalang, while invulnerable, then make a copy of yourself which is then permanently and non-magically invulnerable, which then would continue on like normal berbalang cheese. Clone does not work, because abilities are defined in 5e as the 6 ability scores (phb page 12).
Edit 4: nevermind, other things are defined as abilities.
So in an earlier post I mentioned I got Rouxls Kaard (still so cool), but in his description it says βyou are invulnerableβ what does Invulnerable do exactly?
Basically this. I am using this command to summon a joke mob to run around our base but wanted to make both of them invulnerable so they cant die. This is the command I am using. Does anyone know how to make both the spider and villager invulnerable?
/summon spider ~ ~1 ~ {Passengers:[{id:villager,VillagerData:{profession:farmer,level:2,type:plains},Invulnerable:1,CustomName:"\"Jared\""}]}
