A list of puns related to "Inverness"
Seen a tiny youtube clip of Caledonian fans pure raging to merge with Inverness back in the 90s and its prompted me to ask here: what lines were the support for the 3 (inc clach) drawn. With teams in the same towns supports can be divided, as we all know, along geography or class or religious or whatever grounds so im curious as to why a person might have grown up supporting one over the other. Anything interesting beyond the fact 2 of 3 teams merged and some ppl were unhappy would be a welcome addition to the fuck all else i know
Hi, final year medical student here looking for advice about FY jobs.
I'm trying to decide between staying in and around Glasgow where I studied or heading north to Inverness. I like the idea of moving to Inverness for personal reasons - I'm from the highlands so don't feel worried about it being too rural, and I quite like the idea of getting out of the city again.
My main concern is that it won't prepare me as well as staying in the city. If I were to go to Inverness it would be at Raigmore/New Craigs for both Fy1 and Fy2. I'm worried that I will come out of foundation and not be as well equipped for whatever speciality I choose to go into (currently thinking GP/paeds).
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of working in Raigmore (or equally any other super rural hospitals) and whether you felt your experience was equal to colleagues at tertiary hospitals?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
My wife and I are planning a trip to the UK in June and currently have been double jabbed but not boosted. I have also read that the UK government has been considering changing their definition of "fully vaccinated" to include the booster as well. So my questions is somewhat hypothetical in the possible scenario where I am considered "unvaccinated" if they change the definition of fully vaccinated.
So after the rule changes of Feb 11, if I am considered unvaccinated I know I will have to take a pre-departure test and a day 2 PCR test. If I do the pre-departure test and the day 2 PCR test in my first destination, which is London, then fly to Inverness, will I have to repeat this process? Meaning will I need to take the pre-departure and day 2 PCR test again? What if I took a train across the England-Scotland border instead? Would that mean I do not have to take the pre-departure and day 2 PCR test once I am in Scotland after taking a train?
Any help, tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
