Incendiary bombs fail to light

I feel like this bug happens to me pretty often. I’ll be standing there about to throw an awesome fire bomb and stagger a bunch of shit but instead I’ll just hold out the bomb and flint and keep not lighting it over and over again until I get stabbed in the face and die.

I know that blocking can cancel the animation but I feel like most/all of the time I don’t even block yet it still happens. Fatshark pls fix fire bombs I love them but they keep fucking me over.
