Any tips?

I set a static for my super micro server's IMPI port and it was working fine under testing. Switched it over to production and i can't ping it or access. Any idea how I reset this back to DHCP?

I had a fan failure on fan that was cooling my ZFS Drive pool. I had no way to monitor this, and because of that the problem went unnoticed for what was probably weeks/months, until one of the drives died. I know at work the boards we use have IPMI built in so its easy to monitor critical functionality.... but does something like this exist for consumers?

Something like an IPMI addon card I could use to poll stats on? For example... fan failures? :P

Un familiar está tratando de registrar una marca, y durante el proceso de registro alguien más interpuso una oposición, pero no sabe quién, ni por qué razón. Preguntó en la oficina del IMPI en su ciudad, y le dijeron que sí está la oposición, pero que tiene más de 100 páginas, así que no se la podían imprimir, ni tampoco dejaron que la viera.

De acuerdo con un abogado que consultó mi familiar, en el IMPI de CDMX puede consular/imprimir el archivo de la oposición. Me ofrecí a darme una vuelta al IMPI de Xochimilco, la próxima semana, para revisar ese tema. A decir del abogado, como es un expediente público, cualquiera lo puede consultar, pero quería saber qué esperar durante esta visita? Qué me pedirán en el IMPI? Sí podré ver y copiar o imprimir la oposición que pusieron al registro de la marca?

I've seen plenty of content on how strong this push is but not much on what the push looks like outside of impis. In either single or multiplayer, is impis always the way to go? I was thinking about building chariots and upgrading into knights for knight corps which seems overall better. Thoughts?

Today i updated my FreeNAS Server from 11.2 to 11.3. After the Server rebooted i got the alert:

IPMI SEL low space left: 60 bytes (99% used)

I have then clears the list and after half an hour the list was full again. I checked again and every 4 to 6 seconds the system writes a new entry to it:

131 | 09/03/2020 | 12:35:55 | Fan #0x42 | Lower Critical going low | Asserted

132 | 09/03/2020 | 12:35:59 | Fan #0x42 | Lower Critical going low | Deasserted

I googled a little and found out it's due to a Nocuta fan which sits on my CPU. The fan become spins up for a few seconds and then spins down. This cycle repeats itself every few seconds (matching the times of a new entry being made in the ipmi-log.

Therefore I need help to configure resolve this issue. First of all i want the IMPI (or the FAN?) to stop bombing my log with this output and while doing so i would also control the speed of my FAN. it's a little annoying to hear it spin up and down after every ten seconds. Is there a way to control the speed?

That is to say, during peace time, how much of a standing army was there, and what proportion of the Zulu military would be engaged in peacetime occupations and levied for military service when necessary? During peace, what sort of social privilege was afforded those who were in military service, or else those who were part of a reserve that could be called up?

Hello, I have seen the best practices guide from Supermicro for setting up a secured IPMI (mostly conceptual), but I wanted to get some guidance doing it practically. I am interested in learning how you have configured and your favorite settings (please see some questions below)? Appreciate your tips and suggestions.

1. Have you enabled/disabled/customized any of these ports: Web Port, Web SSL Port, IKVM Server Port, Virtual Media Port, SSH Port, Wsman Port, SNMP Port
2. SSL Redirection
3. Restrict inbound traffic over internet directly to BMCs - is this done by setting IPMI to "Dedicated" LAN interface?
4. Configure the firewall to restrict outbound traffic from BMC - is this done by disabling all services on router? Would this be achieved by removing gateway and DNS server from the settings?
5. Reserve special IP address range (private subnets) to BMC management interfaces and management servers. Don’t use reserved IP subnets with LAN interfaces of the managed machines. - is this referring to static IP?
6. I tried to leave RMCP port blank, too restrict it to local access only, but it is not a valid value. The error message says - "The port number must be between 1 and 65535"
