For a long time, [[Pathbreaker Ibex]] was one of the several budget options (e.g., [[Cultivator of Blades]], [[Great Oak Guardian]]) for any stompy-style deck that wanted a finisher without having to resort to the price tag of [[Craterhoof Behemoth]]. For years, content creators and opponents I'd play with colloquially referred to it as the 'baby' Craterhoof for its ability to provide an [[Overrun]] style effect without breaking the bank.
Yet, nowadays this old goat fetches a hefty price tag (closing in on $30 USD), not all that far behind [[Craterhoof Behemoth]] itself! This begs whether it really is the 'baby' craterhoof anymore, especially when it really operates on a different axis, synergizing more with things like extra combats, [[Wulfgar of Icewind Dale]], or haste effects like [[Xenagos, God of Revels]] compared to Craterhoof's ETB. My own favorite place for Ibex is a [[Deceiver of Form]] deck where you can manipulate the top of your library to be a [[Pathbreaker Ibex]], [[Thunderfoot Baloth]], or [[Blossoming Bogbeast]] to turn an innocuous board into a blowout! There are places I think Pathbreaker simply fairs better or more synergistically with a deck than the ole' Hoof.
If anything, I think [[End Raze Forerunners]] or [[Earthshaker Giant]] might be a better 'baby' Craterhoof, given they provide ETBs and much more budget friendly. In fact, we see that [[End Raze Forerunners]] is consistently higher in popularity than [[Pathbreaker Ibex]], with the Ibex trending lower and lower over the last few years.

The Ibex merino long sleeve was the ultimate travel or daily wear. It had just the right thickness and drape.

Ordered a Holosun 507K-GR X2 from Hunter at Ibex Armament for $265 on 12/30 and received today. Pretty fast considering the holiday and fedex actually had it out for delivery yesterday but didn’t drop off until today.
Opened the box and it had the funniest personalized note from a vendor I’ve ever received. Handwritten too.
This is legitimately why I am taking the time to post here and given the great deals he posts, I look forward to throwing more money at him in the future (hopefully).

Once I set off on my gliding I had the idea to, as soon as the game lets me, visit Ibex Camp just to check in, but continue on with my gliding. But it sounds like if I do that it will finish the game? The quest description makes it seem that way.
I love the new DLC, but I'm kinda sad that we can't make walkthrough habitats for the Ibex, since we have one of them in my "home-zoo", and I was kinda hoping to recreate the zoo with this DLC.
Ordered an optic late last year for a solid price. Shipped a few days later, and arrived yesterday thanks to some winter storms (obviously not Ibex' fault).
It was packaged nicely, well padded and all that and had a handwritten note from the folks there. A nice touch.
