A list of puns related to "Hyperboloid Of One Sheet"
The 2-dimensional hyperboloid, a model for hyperbolic space, is the set I={(x,y,z) , x^(2) + y^(2) - z^(2) = -1} equipped with the lorentzian scalar on R^(3). In Martellis Geometry of Surfaces, Section 2.3, I read that the isometry group of I is generated by reflections r^(S) along subspaces S of I. Such subspaces are defined as the intersection of a 2-dimensional vector subspace in R^(3) with I, S = W intersect I. This might seem like a stupid question, but how do we define these reflections? Of course I understand how a 'Eucledian' reflection works, but if I reflect the whole of R^(3) along any 2-dimensional plane that is not vertical, I is not preserved in this reflection. So what do I miss?
Furthermore, how can we express the correlation between O^(+)(2,1), the group of linear isomorphisms of R^(3) that preserve the lorentzian scalar, which also equals Isom(I), and this group generatred by all reflections r^(S) along subspaces S?
Hi! I've just recently found out I failed the bar exam. :( Is anyone willing to share their JD Advising one sheets and/or outlines (I've read that they are useful), or any other materials you found useful?
I'd also appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.
Just curious to how others do their process with friendly NPCs that may fight with the party l. Like the title says, I'm trying to figure out NPC stat blocks, and I don't want to risk overpowering them, and the npcs have defined classes so would it be better if I just roll up a character to a certain level, or model it off of a pre existing stat block?
I'm still working on fine tuning my skills so I'm interested in hearing how others do their NPC making
Today, we finished canvassing in Fremont county. We reached enough people to feel comfortable that we can swing the entire precinct for Andrew Yang. They LOVED OUR MESSAGE. It was an incredible experience to interact with communities that feel long forgotten and given up on by the establishment.
We talked about what $1,000 per month for every adult would do for their community. And every single person recognized the value of it, no matter what their political leanings were. The point is WE HAVE THE MESSAGE RURAL AMERICANS BELIEVE IN.
However, we have to have some real talk.
Instead of loading down Iowa with canvassers - who churn out a 27% success rate in securing voters - we were distracted by the latest buzz about the media blackout, possible endorsements, and the usual buzz in our community. This isnβt alright. Weβre unfocused and completely vulnerable.
Iβve gotten to know key organizers in the campaign and the message is clear: we have to put as many boots on the ground as is possible for the next 78 days. This is the ELEVENTH HOUR and it is time to go all in Yang Gang. It is time to focus. It is time to secure the bag.
Today marks the day that we prove MSNBC doesnβt mean shit. Its the day we begin proving to rural America that THEY MATTER. That they are America.
We will steal this god damn primary by reaching every possible one of them while the boujee establishment candidates sleep thinking theyβve secured a win.
I cannot be more clear: knocking on doors is the way we do it and bystander syndrome is our BIGGEST threat.
For the past several months Iβve thought βIβm too busy, broke, tired, and stressed. Someone else has that energy. They will deliver.β People. There is no one else. It is us. Its time to turn excitement and energy into action. Contact the most accessible Iowa office and do whatever you can to get there and support others in doing so.
Here is the MATH: 1,681 voting precincts; 77 days left until the Iowa Caucus.
Thatβs 22 precincts per day. It took four people to complete a precinct.
Now, tell me Yang Gang: how are we going to do it?
Who the fuck is in it to win it??
Weβre totally screwed.
Most underrated Uncle Junior comment.
