It seems that Sacramento is looking to deal Buddy Hield and Harrison Barnes before the dealing. How do you guys feel about this and the Celtics? Buddy would be a great addition to this team and fill in the need for shooters on this team.

Doesn't matter - Buddy Hield.

I think they still would've lost Caruso, KCP, Kuzma, and some other key important players. Still seeing the way the team has played you can't help but wonder what if they had Buddy Hield or Demar Derozan instead. I think Hield would've fit well because he doesn't need the ball in his hands. I think Derozan could've had the same issue as Russ because he's ball dominant to.

There is a similar though not as big a gap in 3PA from #1 (Steph, 13.4) to #2 (Buddy, 9.8) and #2 to #50 (Khris Middleton, 6.2). And there are a few in the top 50 3PA that shoot a higher percentage than Steph but really nobody close to Steph when you consider the combination of volume and accuracy. I doubt if this surprises anyone, but the man can shoot.

I still see a lot of people saying we should have gotten Hield over Westbrook, but Melo (not to Ellington too) does everything Hield does, Hield is a bit faster, but Carmelo can shoot over defenders.

Defensive stats over the last 5 seasons show them being equally poor defenders.

And most importantly Melo won't choke in the Playoffs.

Probably the best way to get steals is go to rookie dom and use fullcoart trap and user buddy to get the steals. Was easy for me.

I know the Kings had a coaching change recently, but what’s been up with this guy?

Ofc he’s more of a second unit guy these days, but he’s been pretty bad. In his past five games he’s averaged 11, 3, and 4. His strong cats are usually 3’s but he’s only averaged 1 per game over the past five games too.

People were clowning the Lakers for not trading for him, but he hasn’t been making a strong case. ESPN had him ranked Top 75 at the beginning of the season, but he’s been a borderline streamer at this point.

What do we think? Just a wait and see kind of situation? Hoping a change of scenery for him will help him figure it out? Or is he a drop at this point?
