A list of puns related to "Heald"
In 2020/2021 I was fortunate enough to make a good bit of headway on my research into H. P. Lovecraft's revision client Hazle Heald, so today there are TWO midweek specials for you.
"An Heir to the Mesozoic" (1938) by Hazel Heald is the rarest of her stories, submitted to a fanzine in early 1937 at Lovecraft's suggestion and not published until after his death. It has never been republished, but thanks to the First Fandom Experience I got scans and could transcribe the story.
Her Letters to Lovecraft: Hazel Heald is an overview of Lovecraft's correspondence with his most prolific revision client, if you want an overview of their relationship and what Lovecraft meant to her, this is a good place to start.
Heald. Tor. Cairn. Holy s#!t man! This was the last cairn in England and it sure as hell felt like the "final boss" of cairns. Took me almost an hour and half. I quit 3 times but I just couldn't let it go, I couldn't let those stupid rocks beat me. Finally, on a wing & a prayer, I did it. Thank you god.
I have decided to dive in to some EU audiobooks since it's been years since I've read Thrawn trilogy/Jedi Academy/NJO....and I was absolutely thrilled with Marc Thompson's performance with the Thrawn books. His voices were spot on, his delivery immaculate. I eagerly dived into Jedi Academy as I had fond memories of those books, and suffice it to say it felt like suffering to get through them. Heald's impersonations of the characters was insanely pathetic and what's worse is he continuously mis pronounces things like "Coruskant" and "Palpatyne". I was very sad to see he performs most of the NJO books which I WAS really looking forward to. Does his performance improve? Does he ever learn how to pronounce Coruscant!? If the consistency of what he provided over the Jedi Academy trilogy is what I'm going to be getting with NJO, I might save the money and go straight to Fate of the Jedi....
Hey Everyone, I am thinking about getting my nostril pierced, but I will be forced to take it out for work (after the healing phase) can anyone show me a picture of their healed nostril without a piercing inside, so I can decide if this works for me? I would appreciate this a lot - Thank you!!
Hello Manchester,
We are looking to move house (renting) in Manchester and have seen a few good options in Gatley, Heald Green, Cheadle and Cheadle Hume etc. (These are not the only areas we're looking in).
Does anyone have experience with living in these areas and being under/near the flight path of Manchester airport? Was/is it noisy?
I don't mind some noise but if the planes are rattling the house every 30 minutes then it's a no go.
I don't expect an Estate Agent to give an honest answer so I'm asking here!
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Thank you so much for all of your helpful replies!
Hi, I've been trying to make a psu for my adam and, at first I got nothing from it besides black. Saw that the cable I was using caused a voltage drop across it so I tried soldering wires to the db9 connector directly to test to see if it would work. It sort of does, but only runs if I hold the reset for either the computer or colecovision. Not sure if this is a hardware problem or if I just wired the psu wrong.
I just finished S2:E4 (The Moment of Truth) π€― where Martin Koveβs brilliant one-third-century-spanning portrayal of disgraced ex-military, emotionally-vacant, and typical over-the-top 80s alpha πͺ John Kreese, who was already morally questionable after his tussle with Daniel (Ralph Macchio) and Miyagi (Noriyuki Morita)π₯30 some-odd years earlier, was further cast into doubt after striking the loquacious and intelligent yet socially-clumsy and sassy Demetri, who Gianni DeCenzo simply crushed.
It seemed the series had all but stomped the head of slithering Sensei Kreese. However, shortly after reacquainting the audience with 36 years of buried, undisturbed abhorrence for Kreese, this masterful series completely mind and soul-fucked π€― this viewer by humanizing the only seemingly-irredeemable manβa man who metaphorically, and quite possibly at times literally, identifies as a snake π.
Some shows try this style of grand-enlightenment or moral manipulation yet often fall short or are too βon the noseβ, but Cobra Kai isnβt like other showsβitβs Bad Assπ and refuses to be called a βpussyβ. The scene where Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) follows Kreese home showcases the teamwork and talent of Cinematographer Cameron Duncan π₯, the moving-musical accompaniment of Composers Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson πΆ, and those mentioned above, while showing No Mercy to the competition in the comedy-drama genre.
Iβm authentically impressed by Cobra Kai and canβt understand why I havenβt watched it sooner. Iβm excited for the rest of S2 and the release of S3 as this cast and crew set the tone for all television series moving forward! π
