A list of puns related to "Henry The Navigator"
because he lost the plot
Iβm writing this review since the relatively short cruises aboard the Navigator and Mariner ships seem to be becoming super popular as they include a full day at Coco Cay. Ours was a four day aboard the Navigator with a stop at Coco Cay and a stop at Nassau.
The ship is a bit older (2002) but RC has kept up with it remarkably well. We saw few areas where there was genuine wear on the ship. Perhaps this is because it was refurbished last year, I donβt know. Regardless, the ship is in excellent shape.
Pros: the food on the Navigator was the best weβve ever had on a cruise. Keep in mind I didnβt say it was the best food weβve ever had, I said it was the best weβve ever had on a cruise ship. The MDR was so good we couldnβt really ask for anything more, and El Loco Fresh at the pool was legit. Even though there were hundreds of people on the pool deck during sea day, we never waited more then a few minutes in line at El Loco Fresh. Also the pool smelled like delicious Mexican food all day.
The water slides are legit as well. While they are certainly fun for adults, our daughter had the time of her life on the slides. RC did it right with these.
The drone/ice show is excellent. I wonβt ruin it by describing the show but I will say there were a few times where the entire audience went βwhoa!!β at the same time.
The recent amplification sets the pool deck apart from every other ship at sea. Lots of vibrant colors and the pools themselves have a really fun atmosphere without being gaudy, or, as weβve all seen before, occasionally trashy.
Cons: there are only two real cons for the Navigator.
The recent amplification added a ton of charm to the pool deck, but in order to βamplifyβ it they removed a good portion of the seating areas. I estimate the Navigator has around 20% less pool seating than the Mariner and itβs all due to the refurbishment. This means that on sea day youβre really going to struggle to find a place to sit. My wife and daughter and I walked around the pool area multiple times before giving up and just standing in the pool while holding our stuff. While the amplification is definitely visually appealing, I donβt think the sacrifice in seating is worth it.
The show in the main theater, βShowgirls,β was terrible. I mean really, really terrible. We left about twenty minutes in. At some points it was actually painful to watch.
Here is my short review of Coco Cay: it is awesome and completely worth the price of the cruise. RC freaking
... keep reading on reddit β‘It seems kind of odd to me that Palpatine's fleet was so heavily reliant on navigation towers considering that these people were around (I'm pretty sure Snoke wasn't using all of them). We know they assisted the Imperial survivors fleeing into the unknown regions, so I would expect that massive fleet to have at least a few of them. It's not a big flaw, but I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere here.
Deflect-o-Bot is in the game so why isnt Felfin Navigator there yet?
How do they know this?
Howβs everyone feeling about this one? Weβre not cancelling unless they do, but Iβm trying to get a feel if they will since we still have some time
EDIT: got the cancellation this morning, bummed but was expecting it, might reschedule for the 25th. Wishful dreaming I suppose
To start off, I greatly enjoyed spending some time with it. I have to give Lincoln a lot of credit for certain things. Overall, you can totally see why these things are flying off dealer lots. It's big, it's comfortable, it's practical, and it's very attractive. But, would I spend $90,000 on one? No.
My favorite thing about the Navigator is that it doesn't feel like a smattering together of random parts. It feels cohesive on the inside. Everything about the interior is about quite elegance, the gauges, the center stack design, the impressive seats, the HUD, the hushed interior, and even the impressive leather wrapped grab handles. You can just tell that the engineers and designers started off with a concept and made sure that it flows throughout the entire experience with the car--because it most certainly does. It's a theme I really like. It's unique really. The car makes you want to waft along listening to jazz music and soft rock. It's really excellent and its something it has over the Escalade--and a lot of luxury vehicles for that matter. In fact, that's really the theme of the whole car, cohesive and not so cohesive. The interior most certainly is.
Some other really great things I liked and appreciated about it was the light up Lincoln badge on the front and fade on lights. They look stunning. You want it to get dark so you can go and take another look. The overall design is really great. It's a beautiful vehicle.
It received some criticism for the chrome on the interior. I disagree. I think it is very elegantly done. The design of the interior is never in your face. In fact, it's understated in a lot of ways--other than the chrome plastic. The interior design is very attractive, even if the very real wood looks and feels fake. Lincoln uses a sort of glittery black plastic and its really right in there. Flat shiny plastic looks and feels cheap. The material Lincoln uses does not. Another bright spot on the interior is the control nobs. They work and feel as great as they look. The rest of the luxury industry could learn a lot from how Lincoln does that.
Also, the Revel Audio Ultima system is a diamond. It's excellent. It is incredible crisp and yet boomingly deep. It totally matches the sanctuary feel of the interior. It's a total treat.
So, why isn't it worth $90k? It goes back to cohesiveness.
The driving experience is a total 180 from the interior. Yes, it's a big SUV and you shoul
... keep reading on reddit β‘Tried to add a video but reddit does not seem to procces it.. it was played at the first day in the set of Armin van Buuren at Ultra Europe. Can't find it anywhere!
The tone at the beginning is very similar to the one at the end of flight of the navigator, and seems like the repetition of the phrase βwe areβ could allude to FOTN. Am I crazyΒΏ
Wasnβt wondering what ship is better. Iβm sure itβs subjective but a little insight would help me. We plan on buying the drink packages if that helps as we do drink a lot lol. Thanks for the help
I loved this movie as child! Popped up in recommendations after adding The Rocketeer, another movie I loved as childπ!
