A list of puns related to "Harrier"
Ok, what the fuck? This is just getting absurd.
I love the AV8B but it lacks A2A capabilities. Is there an appetite for a Sea Harrier FA2 in DCS?

I spent my New Years Eve/Day in the Harrier, and so far I really love it. The past year or so I've mainly been flying the Hornet and more recently I've also been flying the Huey, so this is an interesting mix (in some sense).
But I have a few questions.
I get that it's -8Β° from the "water line", and that when it is placed at the horizon the aircraft is in the "proper hover attitude" (so says the manual, which doesn't say what the "proper" nozzle angle is, but I've gleaned from Chucks guide that it's 82Β°).
Now, does that mean that being in this "proper hover attitude" is horizontally neutral? (i.e. no side slip/forward/backward movement) And is that the proper attitude when landing? If the witch's hat is -8Β°, then that feels like I'd be gearing up for a tail-strike.
When I first started playing around, my vertical landings were a mess because I was trying to maintain that "proper hover attitude", and adjusting the nozzle angle to compensate for forward/backward movement.
But it seems like instead of juggling both the throttle and the nozzle angle lever, I just need to have the nozzle's at 82Β°, and pitch up/down to change my forward/aft horizontal velocity, kinda like you'd do in a helicopter (and now that I think about it, exactly how roll is used to change lateral velocity). Is this a correct intuition?
I use the DCS UFC android app for UFC/MFD stuff, which is great but the MFD screens are not mirrored in the app (at least, as far as I can tell), and so I need to see them "in cockpit" to know what the OSB labels are, but the Harriers UFC column blocks the inner parts of the MFD screens.
I'm open to a lot of solutions here. Currently I have to horizontally translate using some janky mouse bindings (ED: pleasepleaseplease add non-mouse bindings for relative camera translation/panning, it's killing me) which is awkward.
I wish I could "flatten" or "hide" the UFC column, or something.
Maybe a better DCS android app that displays the MFDs or the OSB labels (which would actually be a more ideal solution, since looking back and forth between the monitor and the tablet is a pain. Maybe I just need to invest in touchscreens and the whole MFD export process...)
Thanks (and sorry for the wall of text).
The top end Harrier is costing around 25.5 lakhs and for Tuscon glo (low end trim), the owner is quoting around 25lakhs, that is before negotiation. The Hyundai showroom dealer came up with the valuation of 21lakh which I feel is pretty low.
Personally, I really like Tucson. What would you guys do?
So Iβve seen people ask about the Brighton before but not compared to the Harrier. Iβm looking to grab a couple of long sleeves for the winter/spring. I live in MI right on Lake Michigan. So wind can definitely be a factor on some days but others not so much. I want something I can put in my rotation for a decent amount of time but donβt want to over heat. I have problems finding just the right layering technique in the winter for my upper body. My lower is fine in just a pair of leggings. Oh Iβm looking for something to wear in the spring as well. Thanks in advance
