A list of puns related to "Harlotry"
> The prophets, as the inspired mouthpiece of the covenant of Yahweh with Israel, seek precisely through this language of the body to express both the spousal profundity of the aforesaid covenant and all that is opposed to it. They praise fidelity and they condemn infidelity as adulteryβthey speak therefore according to ethical categories, setting moral good and evil in mutual opposition. The opposition between good and evil is essential for morality. The texts of the prophets have an essential significance in this sphere, as we have shown in our previous reflections. However, it seems that the language of the body according to the prophets is not merely a language of morality, a praise of fidelity and of purity, and a condemnation of adultery and of harlotry. In fact, for every language as an expression of knowledge, the categories of truth and of non-truth (that is, of falsity) are essential. In the writings of the prophets, who catch a fleeting glimpse of the analogy of the covenant of Yahweh with Israel in marriage, the body speaks the truth through fidelity and conjugal love. When it commits adultery it speaks lies; it is guilty of falsity.
The Language of the Body in the Structure of Marriage, JPII, January 12 1983
While much of the focus in TOB is on the marriage of Christ and The Church, today JPII focused upon how it was prefigured in the Old Testament between God and Israel in the words of the prophets. In addition there is the Song of Songs (which I know will be discussed at greater length later) as well as many of the marriages between people in the Old Testament to further drive home this point of the spousal nature of God's Love.
As a total aside, and to promote a random discussion, harlot has fallen out of common vocabulary in favor of other words. What is your favorite word that was once used way more than today?
It will do me no good to explain they are the ones who gang raped me...
From following streams and the subreddit here, I've noticed quite a few people want to know where their favorite champion ranks. I would like to, time permitting, begin doing this a few days after every patch release. I'd also like to include decks that seem to be the most optimal for each champion. I'm always open for discussion. With that said, this is how I would rank the current champions in order:
Tier 1: Pip, Barik, Grohk
Tier 2: Buck, Ruckus, Cassie
Tier 3: Skye, Evie
Tier 4: Fernando
Tier 1:
Pip was an already strong champion in .9, and we saw carries like Cassie, Skye and Evie all take a fairly big hit in terms of nerfs and cards being reshuffled. Pip floated to the top because his optimal constructed deck of Reload/Refreshing Jog/Marathon/Malady/Acid Cloud meshes so well together. He brings a ton of burst damage via an AA -> AA -> Explosive Flask and has plenty of sustain and elusiveness from Weightless. Reload is very strong at level 1.
Barik was the big winner from Patch 10. He now has builds that immediately impact the game from level 1 to builds that can carry late game. My preferred build is Architectonics/Healing Station/Field Deploy/Paralyze (In Flame is also really strong here)/Overdrive. The ability to spam turrets with this much impact is almost unfair. He also has a Rocket Boots build (Nitrous/Fuel Efficiency/Bowling Ball/Coming Through/Exhaust) that is very slow for the first 4 levels, but at level 5 makes him nearly impossible to kill while assassinating carries left and right. Finally, his weapon build, which builds around Velocity/In Flame/Battle Focus or Pyromance is great for melting late-game tanks.
Grohk was somebody who benefits greatly from constructed play, as he, like Barik, tends to need a very coherent build to get anything done. I prefer his carry build, which is built around Monolith Totem/Outreach/Sow the Seed/Planted/Lightning Rod and pumps out the AoE damage and CC. It puts so much pressure on the other team. They have to save their CC break for your root and they can't group or they get melted. You could also be a very strong tank/AoE support via Monolith Totem/Gale/Wind Totem/Overload/Healing Rain, but Grohk has so many strong cards to choose from to fit many playstyles.
Tier 2:
Buck came out in a much better place this patch. In .9, the damage at level 1 was much higher and Buck was prone to getting blown up and having to sit out or die. Now, he can find

Do your worst!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

It really does, I swear!

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
