I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!

If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.

Over a year has passed since the shooting stopped in Hyderabad. While India, Dravida, and Pakistan are still officially at war, a truce for peace negotiations began in June 1953. While the negotiations have as of yet not produced a peace treaty acceptable to all, all sides are interested enough in the negotiations not to order any new attacks. The former lands of the Princely State of Hyderabad are still divided along the same front line as they were in 1953, and India still has four divisions in the region and Pakistan and Dravida each fielding two divisions. With both sides dug in, neither side stands any chance of gaining an advantage without reinforcements.
The year without fighting has led to a lessening of tensions between India on the one hand and Pakistan and Dravida on the other. Normal trade has resumed, and the food panic of a year ago has passed, although Pakistan and Dravida both are threatening to resume sanctions if the war continues. Infrastructure within the Indian-occupied region has largely been rebuilt, although the bridges over the Godavari and Manair Rivers are still in ruins as they lie between the forces controlled by two armed adversaries.
While there has been no fighting along the front lines in the past year, this doesn't mean that things have been completely peaceful. The Razakars have been busy completing their task of evicting Hindus from their homes in order to make space for Muslim migrants from territory that is now a part of India. The rump Kingdom of Hyderabad is shaping up to be an overwhelmingly Muslim, Urdu-spraking state, and will not longer have to deal with the problems of minority rule. While India is not entirely approving of this population exchange, they have devoted their efforts to settling the refugees rather than stopping the exodus of Hindus from Gulbarga, Raichur, and Hyderabad City. While people are still moving from elsewhere in the Deccan to the rump Hyderabad and from Hyderabdad to Indian and Dravida, the number of refugees looking for shelter overseas (i.e. in Sarawak) is dwindling, with only 2000 new refugees moving to Sarawak since the fighting stopped.
