A list of puns related to "Growler"
Sticking to dry Jan but I need my beer fix. Any places that have that?
Pipers corner is shut until February. Is it possible to get a growler anywhere else?
I received a pressurized growler as a gift over the holidays. So far I have only used it for home brews, but I'd like to fill it up at a brewery once in a while. Even pre-covid times I have never found a brewery in MA that will fill a blank growler since the law changed a few years ago. And since the pandemic most breweries don't seem to be filling growlers period.
Any tips on breweries that may fill it up? Or is it doomed to be filled only with my mediocre home brews? (I'll also gladly take suggestions for places in southern NH, VT, or ME!)
Iβve got a couple 32 oz growlers from big rip and wonder who else would fill them upβthanks!
Ended up with a growler for Xmas and donβt know much about filling them around here. It is a stainless steel one. Can you go to any brewery or beer store and get it filled or do they only fill up the growlers they sell?
Always looked forward to grabbing the latest issue of the The Growler, and haven't seen them since early-Mid 2020. Anyone know the deal, did they stop putting out print?
Looking for someplace different to get growler fills. I am looking for Belgians, Bocks, Stouts, or just anything out of the ordinary. All recommendations are welcome including chains and local establishments.
Currently on a tight budget. Is there any huge difference between poorman's growler vs actual growler vs throwing on a FF nimbus tire?
FF nimbus tire would run me about $120+ ish ,used pint tire would be like $50 ,and obviously a full growler would be the most expensive. Im just looking for carvier ride on my XR
Here is a comparison that you can use to hopefully help me out: https://99spokes.com/en-CA/compare?bikes=rockymountain-growler-40-2022%2Ctrek-x-caliber-8-2021
Saw the game in person and then came home and watched the Leafs game recording, noticed the Growlers took Leafs Night to heart with both games being very similar!
Posted this in r/Leafs but thought r/Hockey might also find this amusing/interesting!
One night, as I sat home alone relaxing and watching TV, I suddenly heard a noise from out in my field, through the open windows. This was a pretty normal occurrence, given that I owned about 6 acres of empty, dry field at that time and there were alot of wild animals out and about. You know, like skunks, deer and raccoons and such.
But, on this night, my cats jumped up onto the window sills, puffed up, and backed themselves into the corners of the windows, to listen in alarm. This was not at all like them, as they were also used to The various wild critters out there.
As I muted the TV and listened, I realized that whatever it was sounded BIG, almost as if something was maybe being drug through the tall, dead field grass. The cats were also growling, increasingly alarmed by the second.
For whatever stupid reason that I came up with in my head, I decided to go outside with a knife, of all things, to go check it out. field, field, I stepped out my front door, and the motion light came on, as expected. But, as soon as I stepped around the corner to where the noises were coming from, the shadows took over and casted me in total darkness.
Now, typically the critters will take off when they hear someone coming towards them. Whatever this was, was either eating something and unafraid, or was just plain big enough that I was the least of its problems. Then, through the darkness, it growled at me. It had the smoothness of a cat, but with the loudness of a dog. That's the only way that I can describe it.
On pure instinct, I put my hands up in the air and backed away around the corner, back to my front door. Why I didn't bring a flashlight, I'll never know.
As soon as I got back inside my house, I went directly to close my blinds and windows that were facing that side of my yard. Whatever was outside, growled at me again, even though I was bathed in the light from inside my house.
I never figured out what the hell that was that night, out there in the dark. I did look outside the next morning, but there was no trace of anything in the field.
Does anyone know a brewery or other location where I can get a unique (shape, graphic, material, etc.) growler? Looking for something other than the standard brown glass with a white logo.
Iβm willing to drive about an hour if there are locations in the greater Sacramento area.
Thanks!
I was wondering if anyone in this sub happens to have one of these growlers they wouldn't mind parting with. I am looking to get a growler for each brewery my wife and I visit as brewery hopping has been our thing since she moved up to MN. I am having a tough time tracking these ones down. Willing to pay or trade other growlers for them. Comment or shoot me a message. Thank you for your time.
I was pretty bored and was just messing around on YouTube and I had no idea the amount of covers people are still doing to this day of the growlers. I thought I had seen everything until I searched βthe growlersβ on YouTube and filtered by this month/year. I had no idea how active the community has been outside of this subreddit but itβs pretty groovy to see all the growlers stuff still being postedπ€π€
Almost exclusively keg beer, but want to share with some friends when I fly out to visit. Anyone have experience flying with capped glass growlers in their checked bags? Any recommendations?
