A list of puns related to "Great Jedi Purge"
Hello There Everyone!
I Believe that the central struggle of the Bad Batch will revolve around the The Great Jedi Purge. I think the story will begin right at the beginning of Order 66 and will continue through the purge. Iβm hoping we will see Operation Knightfall! The Bad Batch will travel through the galaxy working with Darth Vader to suppress the βJedi Uprisingβ.
We will see the bad batch working for the empire prior then after the clone forces are in the process of being decommissioned we will see a clone revolt beginning on Kamino. Bad batch survives and ultimately become mercenaries. During this time they will take on a job that finds themselves protecting Jedi.
Let me know what you all think!

Vader seemed to finding and killing survivors every other week between 19BBY and 0BBY.
How hard was it for the Jedi to ditch their robes and sabers, stop using the Force, take on a new name, and hide in some back world town or village in the Outer Rim?
There were thousands of planets and only a few hundred (if that many) Jedi survivors. Iβm willing to bet most civilians never even saw any Jedi during the Clone Wars (or even believed they existed). Just stay away from Core worlds and stick to the Outer Rim and systems the war never reached (which there HAD to be in such a huge galaxy).
Or did Vader just sense every single Jedi survivor through the Force?
The jedi purge was partly to rid the galaxy of jedi as they were the only real threat to sidious and his empire at the time. It went as far as sending anakin and ordering clones to kill younglings to prevent them from growing up to become jedi. My question is if there were any other siths at this time do you think they would be order 66 and purge targets aswell.
Since jedi were the only threat to palpatine wouldn't other sith be aswell? After all sith aren't above killing other sith as everyone knows especially to gain power. In fact while the inquisitor program was formed in order to hunt down jedi survivors of order 66. While inquisitors were force users vader and sidious made sure not to give them any training in ways of the sith for fear that the inquistors would become too powerful and might even attempted to overthrow them both.
So with this knowledge do you think other siths would also be a target during the great purge.
Include lyrics to songs
Round 1 Ahsoka is shown the movie once after leaving the order
Round 2 Ahsoka can watch the movie whenever she wants but only she can see it
Bonus round Ahsoka is shown the movie on the way to met Anakin
With canon reduced drastically, do we know of any aside from Yoda and Obiwan to survive the purge? I haven't watched Clone Wars or Rebels and was curious.
May the 4th be with them
Fives went through all the trouble to find true about the Order 66. Jedi should have looked into the clones more than they did. It was like taking candy from a stranger. They should have dug more than they did. The fact that the clones were loyal to the Republic instead the Jedi should have had them on constant alert.

Hey,
This was touched upon in a different post so I thought I'd make it a thread to get some more opinions.
Would Jedi from before the purge be significantly more skilled than Rey/Kylo?
I think Kylo and Rey would indeed be less skilled tbh
I think Jedi/Sith from before the fall of the Jedi would be stronger. More involved and better quality training. Specialized lightsaber form training. Training with multiple masters, starting at childhood
The world Kylo and Rey live in they just don't have that same level of training. Luke would really be the only Jedi that trained them both, who himself didn't have that much formal training? I dunno I just feel like a well trained Jedi Knight would be more skilled. A master certainly.
You can kinda see it in the way they fight. (I know it's just a difference in choreography but it fits) Someone like Anakin or Mace Windu for example fought in a much more stylistic way, which lorewise would fit. They incorporate lightsaber forms, ways of fighting and moving specifically with lightsabers.
As opposed to Kylo and Rey who fight like they're wielding swords with weighted blades for the most part. That points to training that didn't include specific forms of lightsaber combat.
I can only conclude that difference in formal training would make a difference.
Thoughts?
I'd like some good books about Jedi who survived the purge if there are any idk, thanks if you know any. I also don't mind if its canon or legends.
TL;DR:Β The show will be the ultimate bridge between the prequels and Original trilogy, featuring flashbacks to the Clone Wars, conversations between Qui Gon, Obi-wan, and Yoda about Anakin. It will show us the perspectives of characters we didnβt see in the films and the thoughts and actions of these characters behind the scenes of the events we already know. The series will also give us our first real glimpse into Anakin as Darth Vader, his grief at the loss of Padme, and his relationship with Palpatine.
Speculation:
I believe that the D+ Obi-wan Kenobi series will feature an intriguing structure. We know that there are rumours that the series will feature a clone era Anakin Skywalker, and reports are leaking that Darth Vader will also make his way into the show. So just how will all of this work. Well, I have an idea.
Firstly the structure, I think we see Obi-wan on the desert planet Tatooine going about the soul-destroying drudgery of surviving while hiding. He ekes out a miserable life on Tatooine while the emperor and his newly-suited apprentice; Darth Vader, subjugate the galaxy.
Secondly, each episode will feature a flashback to the clone wars as Obi-Wan attempts to deal with the guilt of creating the galaxyβs most vicious mass murderer. The flashbacks will show new perspectives on events we have already seen in the prequels or Clone Wars series. This would be a great opportunity to see the scenes between scenes. The parts of the story left out of the films. Scenes between Obi-Wan and the council regarding Anakin and their fears. Scenes with Qui-Gon about why it is so important to train Anakin. Scenes where we see the little moments where Anakin is starting to doubt the Jedi. It will be in these flashbacks that we see Obi-Wanβs past and the reasons he wishes to redeem himself with Luke. This would be an excellent way to expand and humanize Anakinβs character while showing how Obi-Wan changes from the Clone War general from the prequels into the original trilogyβs old Ben.
Thirdly we will see Vaderβs true power, much like in the final moments of Rogue One. He will be hunting and destroying the last remaining Jedi, almost like a short horror segment attached to the end of each episode. Vader has one singular goal, to find and kill Obi-wan. The insights we gain in each Flashback will make this part all the more devastating, as we start to connect deeper with Obi wan and Anakin and .Β It would be wise to keep this part small, maybe thirty second

"For My Ally Is The Force. And A Powerful Ally It Is. Life Creates It, Makes It Grow. It's Energy Surrounds Us And Binds usΒ Β Β -Yoda
The force is like water. It connects us, feeds all things, and is a part of every living thing. We can harness it and use it, but water does not care if we are Muslim,Β Buddhist, or catholic.Β It just is. And we would be foolish to think it cares about us. This is the folly of the Jedi and the sith.
The Jedi and the sith attached rules and doctrine excluded and manipulated people for their own designs, but the force has existed since the beginning of time. They lost the force's true meaning, weighing it down with their own ideas, rules, and expectations. They thought because they could tap into it, they could understand it and control it.
The problem
George Lucas has said that the light side of the force is balanced and the Darkside is imbalanced but what many people misinterpret is that the Jedi at the time of the clone wars are the light side. The Jedi at this time is at the height of their power as a political and militaristic group, but herein lies the problem.
Because of their ambition and hubris, the Jedi has failed to represent the light side of the force. The sith grew in power during the Jedi's disillusion, creating an even larger imbalance due to lack of representation of the light side by the Jedi. It is the religions based on the force that throw the force out of balance. The force is natural; it does not need politics or militaries. It is not concerned with bureaucracy or democracy. It only recognizes light, joy, love, and pure emotion.
The forceβs true nature was being lost, buried in the turmoil of the two warring religions. So the force sent a solution. Anakin Skywalker.
The Solution
This is why the force uses Vader. He was like the biblical flood cleansing the galaxy of the religions' hypocrisy and evil that sought to contain and control the force. Though a villain to the galaxy, he was a savior sent by the force to release it from the clutches of organized religion and put back into the hands of the people. Vader eliminated the constraints that Jedi/sith placed on the force in their galaxy, freeing people to choose how to use the force on their own,

I have been playing through JFO recently and I just arrived at the battle with Taron Malicos. I found his speech very interesting: "The Jedi fell long before the purge. Stifled by tradition. Deafened by our past glories. Blinded by endless war". It got me thinking: Can we identify a certain point or event in galactic history where this turn took place? Was it more a gradual process, and if so, what triggered it?
I'm not very familiar with the disney canon, but from the EU, I can only think of the Ruusan Reformation. However, there are certain arguments to be made against this. Even though the Jedi were placed under the authority of the Senate and the Supreme Chncellor, they were stripped of their military titles and any relationship with the military branch of the republic. Moreover, the following 1000 years are said to have been for the most part, peaceful. So, what was it that caused the Jedi to lose their way? Sure, the Jedi were peacekeeprs, but without any significant conflicts I would imagine that for the most part, they would have the time to reflect and meditate on the mysteries of the Force. So, what are your thoughts?
