A list of puns related to "God In Islam"
In my head, its as simple as that. For a Muslim to claim Islam is correct, argument of first cause, etc is not it. Its as much proof of Islam as it is for Hinduism or Scientology. (not saying these arguments are proof of a deity, just saying that its all equally valid or invalid for all religions).
What proof is there that the Quran is the word of God? This question should be asked more often.
> And the following counter question may also be put to them. โNo man has seen God at any time, the Only-begotten which is in the bosom has declared him.โ John 1:18 What of the Father did the Only-begotten Son declare? His essence or His power? If His power, we know so much as He declared to us. If His essence, tell me where He said that His essence was the being unbegotten?
Is it a certainty that man cannot know anything about God if the essence-energies distinction is denied?
But I know that the rules which are almost always irrational and cause undue discomfort in this world are mostly wrong. But idk what to believe or think about the actual root principle of islam.... one prophet.... one Allah... and heaven and hell. Are those correct? Aside from the rules accompanying the religion ofc.
Then you have to travel there and walk a circle around it and spend a lot of money on travel. It's the disney land for Muslims and seems like another way for Saudi to make money.

Iโm not an Atheist, but I use to be religious. Never understood why anyone doesnโt ask this question more (I understand that currently knowledge of other species and civilizations doesnโt exist, but still).
Salaam Alaikum brothers and sister,
Is there a mention of the word/title of god (supreme being/creator) in islam?
im not talking about Ilah but litterly the word god?
what does the word god actually mean in islam?
May Allah lead us.
If indeed other religions do refer to Jesus, how is he represented, and what is the context for this representation (eg: developed in the 10th C due to...)?
Much appreciated.
Why has God created a world of chaos? If it is to produce the right product (Us) and he is all powerful, why not just make us without this world?
Why should God want?
Why should God want to control and dominate the people of the world into set patterns of behaviour? Is it so he can take them to heaven with him?
Why would God impose an existence on a creature which is un-wanting and ungrateful of that existence?
As the devil refused to prostrate himself before God he was banished to Hell. Does this not show that God has a need for ultimate control?
Why isn't Good or bad an arbritary choice for God?
I don't want to be controlled. God is not me. God is a separate entity to me. Why should I prostrate myself before God? I believe the Devil was right to do that. I believe control of any kind is an evil. It is submission and renders the submitter into a pathetic and pitiful state.
I want to believe in a God because I want some meaning in my life. And I find it hard to find in secular terms. Things seem empty. I think I'm one of those people who will never stop asking why and a set answer of because it is isn't going to satisfy me.

First of all, how can Judaism and Christianity be wrong if the perfect God created those religions? What makes Islam right and the first two not(the original versions)?
Besides, already after Muhammadโs death the Islamic community(Ummah) split between Sunnis and Shias. Islam was already 'distorted' back in those times. And till this day, this division is still very much there.
But also, what about Salafis, Ahmaddiya, Ibadi, Sufi, etc.? There are many various interpretations of Islam, some more liberal than the others, some more popular but still, the Muslim world is more divided and weak than ever.
But regardless of religion, the Muslim world is full of armed conflicts/wars, poverty, corruption, human rights abuses and much more terrible things.
Most Muslims would tell you this is all because of bad Muslims who have strayed away from Islam.
So if thatโs the case, shouldnโt Allah be doing something about this, perhaps bring down another prophet? Who has the intent to bring unity and peace to the world? As a sort of reminder?
Or does Allah/Yahweh/God not do such things anymore ๐ค
As a muslim myself, I was taught that God created everything we know of, which includes homosexuality. My question is, why create homosexuality and then prohibit it, then create a few hundred thousand humans that are homosexual and are strictly not allowed to live out their homosexual lives? It feels like the people who are born heterosexual were "lucky" in their lives and can live normally while other "unlucky" people were born homosexual and must deal with this giant wall that's blocking their path.
I am simply asking out of curiosity since I've been wondering about this question for years now and have not found any answers. Thanks.
The phrase 'playing God' may not be apt here, as I understand it, one has to be omniscient, omnipotent, and infinite in size and scale before coming close to your God's power.
But I recently wondered why I have not heard of many Arab science fiction works, and came across [this] (http://www.heise.de/tp/artikel/23/23713/1.html). I have no idea about its validity, but it brought up the point of creative power through fantasy writing intrudes on God's exclusive domain of creation.
So I want to know: Is creation God's exclusive domain where we may not tread? If so, what are things we can create without trespassing? If not, is the present condition God's perfect form for the world, and we should not seek to modify it?
Also, if you have an opinion on what is discussed on the link, I would like to hear it. /r/arabic is very inactive, and I feel I will get more honest opinions here.
