Could be a fun thing to look at.
A short competition during the offseason, indoor venues, helps build up Futsal in the country and established even more of a 'club' feel.
Already done well with the E-League so I think it makes sense to grow into all FIFA sanctioned versions of the game - Futsal, Beach and Efootball.
Hello, I just moved to Indonesia (Bandung) and I want to play recreational futsal, but donโt know where to find the people to play with?
I tried googling but havenโt really found anything. Itโll be great if anyone can tell me where to look. Or better, has a team that is willing to welcome me if youโre in the area.
I can speak basic bahasa and wouldnโt mind playing with bahasa speakers.
Makasih.

My kids team (14U) is trying futsal coming off a successful fall season. They just got absolutely destroyed in 2 consecutive games by competitive teams they are dead even with when playing 11 a side vs these same core squads. I am talking double digit losses. They were really upset after the last match. It is making we wonder what is going wrong and more importantly if they arenโt developing in a way they should.
Anyone experience this before and does it really matter if they get results in outdoor? It is just so crazy to me how much of an ass whipping it is on the small court.
My take is they suck in tight spaces. Their play style outdoor is very physical (win the majority of 50/50 balls), fast, use ALL the open space and plenty of long balls, switch fields frequently, foot races, long passes, shots from distance, you get the picture. None of these tactics appear to convert that well to Futsal and they just seem lost. My worry is it means their individual skill is falling far behind and they have just reverted to โathleticismโ.
Sorry for rambling, again just curious if anyone has been through this.
I am wondering what the right size futsal ball is for a 7 yr old.
You know in outdoor soccer it's like size 3 for 4-6 yr old, size 4 for 7-10, size 5 for 11+ or something like that.
So for futsal, since adults use size 4, do the kids use size 3?
CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARALHO!
Anyone here play some pickup games for soccer? Would love to get some regular games in throughout the semester. I'd prefer indoors due to the weather but I have some winter gear for outdoor games. I've been to Palladium but I didn't see any futsal goalposts. Was wondering if there are other facilities where people can play
Hello, I'm a futsal goalkeeper playing in a regional division in Spain. I write this post to achieve two things, spread my knowledge so others can improve, and to get some feedback from people with more experience than me so I too can improve my game and knowledge.
As a futsal goalkeeper our job is to stay all the time in the line that goes from the ball to the center of the goal.
The problem comes when deciding at which distance the goalkeeper should be standing from the goal, and how to decide the optimal path to follow when trying to achieve this.
This distance and path to change position depend on the situation, and that's what I'll try to explain in this post.
One should think about the positioning of the goalkeeper as an Ellipse, with the short axis at the posts and the large axis perpendicular to it. The goalkeeper should stand on the edge of the ellipse.
The length of the large axis depends on the distance of the ball from the goal, the position of the attackers and the position of the defenders.
The concept of the ellipse and the location of the short axis is based on the fact that when the ball is near the corner, the space to cover is already fulfilled when the goalkeeper is standing next to the post, since the angle of the shot is narrowed and the body already covers all the goal.
What I define as Standard is when the ball is being played in a slow pace, with player rotations and passes from side to side.
In this case, depending on the distance of the attacking players we will stand in different ellipses:
Boa noite, pessoal. Gostaria de saber se tem algum lugar que joguem um fut feminino na Zona Norte (Santana), moro por lรก. Obrigada.
My high school Iโm going to has futsal as a summer sport and soccer as a winter sport. So basically I can do my favorite sport all year round. But in futsal, do people use their body to keep the ball (i.e. push others out of the way with your shoulders), or is it just skills?
Hi guys! to give context, I live in the Philippines and finding boxing shoes in the first is already difficult and if ever you do find one, it is always 50% above suggested retail price. It is just out of my budget. I'm not looking to compete in any way but I love boxing so I train weekly for cardio and because I enjoy it.
I need some advice on a solid and budget friendly alternative to boxing shoes. Wrestling shoes are just as difficult to find as boxing shoes.
Futsal shoes are the most budget friendly in my country and are relatively flat so those are one of my options. Another are trainers like Metcons.
What do you guys think would be the more appropriate shoe to get?
Sheffield FC run a Monday night league Iโd like to enter. If response is good enough Iโd happily sort out casual games too! League is Menโs but would set up mixed casual games if we can get 10 people together.
