Give me the inside scoop, the tea, the lo-down, the dirty, the nasty, the unheard of. I want to hear it all. I'm going to be a teacher, and so much of my experience will come from my university. I want to make the best choice for myself, for my future students, so please share anything and everything. Your recommendations, or not.
Would you recommend Fordham University?
[[Reposted due to interference from negative commenters.]] This isn't much, but at least people within the Orthodox Church, the Christian tradition which I've come to love most, are allowed to talk and question openly.

This is a report on a project by a team of scholars, theologians and psychologists from the University of Exeter and Fordham University from 2017-2020 regarding the inclusion of LGBTQ+ persons in the Eastern Orthodox Church.
The format of the volume consisted of 10 anonymous essays representing a wide range of perspectives. Because this was an open forum, views ranged from inclusive to ultra-reactionary (for which I will mark for trigger warnings due to homophobia/transphobia.) These included:
β’ Questioning, from an Orthodox perspective, sexuality and marriage as inherently utilitarian/procreative, leading to the suggestion that conservative views on homosexuality should be reconsidered.
β’Β Questioning, from an Orthodox perspective, the inherent 'Orthodoxy' of upholding gender binarism.
β’ Restating familiar arguments within progressive Christianity for reanalysis of translations in OT/Pauline letters, and arguing for cultural-contextual readings of passages traditionally interpreted as condemning homosexuality and gender variance.
β’ Analyzing cultural understandings of human sexuality rooted in traditional Orthodox doctrine, from biblical/Roman to Byzantine and medieval Slavic times (e.g., based on 'acts' rather than orientation, 'top vs bottom', hierarchical distinction instead of homo vs. hetero), and whether or not this should still applicable to Orthodox Christians today. (Interestingly, I was surprised that in Byzantium, apparently being a top in a homosexual act was considered more sinful than being a bottom, reversing what I'd assumed previously.)
β’ Non-theological essays advocating for the modern science of gender/sexuality, as well as theories of Judith Butler, but with no reference to their applicability to Orthodox Christians.
β’ At least two of the participants were Orthodox theologians arguing for upholding the Church's condemnation of homosexuality and gender variance, including one who

Is this a good sign for Fordham? Or a bad sign? I'm a reverse splitter and scared. University of Washington data point, in review now.
I'm graduating from BMCC and looking to complete my Bachelors degree at either Fordham University (PCS) or Baruch College. I'm a Business Administration major currently and if I decide on Baruch - it'll be a BBA with concentration in Operations Management & Consulting and a minor in Law & Policy. If I decide on Fordham PCS, it's a B.A. in Business.
I'm undecided as I don't know if I'll stay in NYC forever post college. Nobody has heard of Baruch outside of NY, yet everyone I know who went to Baruch College are working for decent companies and making decent salaries in NYC. I've visited both campuses, and both seem fine although different.
Fordham (PCS) cost 59k for 60 credits, and recently has the "Good Neighbor Initiative" which will discount an additional 30% off tuition if you live within 5 miles from the Bronx campus. (Just so happens I live in Washington Heights and this qualifies.) This also doesn't include scholarship, or funding from the honor societies I was apart of at BMCC. In addition, my company has tuition reimbursement of $6,500 per year.
Baruch College costs $18k total, again this doesn't include any scholarship, funding, tuition reimbursement, etc.
I currently work in sales in an industry I truly enjoy and have been in for 8 years now. My plan is to utilize the degree to jump into management in my same industry. I'm 28 and will be 29 when starting at either school.
How do the two colleges compare to each other? Which is the better business school for job placement, career advancement, and which would you choose?

I really need someone to share their stories, anything that relates to life at Lincoln Center, life at the dorm, people surroundings (friends and community), and Finance major \(οΏ£οΈΆοΏ£*\)) I want to study Finance in NYC, and Fordham is one of my choices.
I'm Vietnamese and have never been to the US. I feel like knowing anything .-. I desperately want to learn information.
Thank you!!
Looking to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions on this particular dilemma I'm in. Cost is not a factor, I have an opportunity to go to either schools above and would be attending their graduate program as an aspiring teacher. I'm a byproduct of the public school institution, and CUNY, so I know a bit about Hunters and Brooklyn College's respective history. But Fordham is such a strong reputable school, that I find myself second guessing. This would be my Ivy League, Harvard, Yale, Princeton and I want to know if I'm missing out on a teaching experience, once in a lifetime opportunity by now going to Fordham. Again, cost is not a factor, I'm just looking for thoughts on the school of education component. Thanks.

Looking to hear from current students about the experience at Fordham University. I am applying to be a teacher and would enroll in the program. If you're in the teaching program, school of education, or currently here at Fordham as an enrolled student, I would love to hear your experience. Thanks in advance.
I have Relay Graduate school of education, Touro College or CUNY Hunter as my backup schools. Thanks in advance for sharing.
