A list of puns related to "Followup"
Legends moving was discussed quite a bit here. This is the reason for all the shifting: Noddle is building 19 townhomes on Leavenworth.
The resulting moves are knock-on effects from this project.
I hadn't seen this mentioned in those discussions and thought some might be interested.

Finally the entire David Lynch/Mark Frost tv series "On The Air" seven episodes is online in pretty good quality, sourced from a Japanese laserdisc. Over the years pretty crappy quality links have been posted, but noticed someone posted all seven episodes. Of all of David Lynch's works, to everything documenting his entire life's work, "On The Air" seems to be the never mentioned super rare work of his(even tho the first 3 episodes aired on tv)

BONUS: The rare 30 minute David Lynch art installation documentary "The Air Is On Fire" from Italy that only could previously be seen in museums in 2007:
Hey again. Thought I should add this as I have openly discussed a child free airline and shared the opinion of my pro-child family.
I had to report to pilot orientation training in California and flew back before the holiday season. Flying Southwest, we landed at Love Field and I was like one of the first people to board the plane. I decided against the front row in case of handicapped or other persons who needed extra time to board. That said, I chose the row behind it sitting at the window. As the boarding process proceeded, I noticed a family of 4 and sure enough, they chose the seat behind mine.
Within a minute of sitting down, the kid sitting behind me is screaming and putting the trey table up and down repeatedly. This was on the ground before we got pushed back and already having dealt with a 1.5 hour delay. After siting on the ground for an additional 30 minutes, the screaming ceased but the trey table kept being smacked up and down as we took off.
I didn't want to be an asshole and scream at the kid, but I did give the dad a look, who was sitting In the same row but across the aisle. The kid eventually calmed down once the food cart passed. We finally landed in DC and sure enough the family was up in the aisle as soon as the plane came to a stop at the gate. I was so irked but then a minor miracle happened...
The dad and I made eye contact and he insisted I leave the plane first and apologized for his kid's behavior on the flight. I nodded and said, "Thanks" and scurried off the plane as fast as I could. Folks, that was the straw that broke the camels back. I am going to find a investment partner and/or drive myself into bankruptcy attempting to launch this child-free airline.
I wish everyone on here a child-free New Year and a happy 2022.
Dear r/antiwork, I love you. I love the entire spirit of this sub. I have worked so many dogshit jobs, and been treated poorly by so many places, and mediocre-ly by so many more.
I was following the last FUCK WENDYS threads (link below) so keenly because I admired how brave the OP was. He deleted both threads, out of fear of legal repercussions later.
But I hate that it had to be taken down. I get it, he's a human he has serious anxiety, as any rational person would.
But I wonder now, is anyone here an actual attourney that could help us draft very clear set of guidelines that minimise personal exposure for posting information like this? Someone who *really* knows employment law?
The goal being, of course, to talk openly about shitty companies who seek to hide their awful internal management practices behind a wall of legal threats?

Hello everyone,
Inspired by this post, and due to many nationalities not being in the original poll, let's try to make another one that would show us more accurate results!
I've added the countries considered in Europe in the poll (+ a few other countries like Mexico, India or the US and New Zealand) but you can add any country with the "Other" answer.

As per my request, I asked HB if they were going to offer steam keys as alternatives to the EGS offerings that are soon to be introduced to Humble Choice. See below:
"Thanks for reaching out to us at Humble Bundle Support!
I am very sorry to hear that the upcoming changes to Humble Choice have not met your expectations. We are always open to any feedback you may have and will forward this to our Choice team for additional review, as they are dedicated to improving Choice based on input from our community. Everyone at Humble wants Humble Choice to be something we are proud to offer, and this can only be a reality with feedback from our great community! You can find more information on the changes coming to Humble Choice over at this FAQ.
That all said, there is not plans to completely leave out Steam keys from Humble Choice at this time. Most of the games provided in our Humble Choice monthly memberships provide Steam keys. However, there are times when another platform like GOG or Epic Games are provided for a title here or there.
While I can't promise any further changes to Humble Choice before February 1, 2022, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us. Rest assured, we are constantly working to improve all aspects of Choice and our storefront, so please always feel free to let us know how you feel.
Thanks again for getting in touch, and please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns!
Sincerely,"
To me this says 'fuck you, we're going ahead with it and you'll not get anywhere near as many games as you used to'.
So, as a monthly subscriber for the last 3 years, I am going to tell HB to poke their new direction. I suggest everyone in this sub ask the same question and cancel their sub if they don't change their tune.

Just a followup to that thread a couple days ago where people were commenting on feeling bleh lately -- there was a very sudden drop in atmospheric pressure this morning. 101.3 kpa is 'normal' barometric pressure and as of writing we are at 96.95 kpa, which is quite low.

Hey everyone,
I recently started in a sales role where I work with account executives regularly, and wanted more insight into their processes.
For those of you who need to manage reaching out to, and engaging with, prospects / accounts on a daily basis, how do you know when to follow up with them? Do you use a tool to help you remember when to reach back out? Task manager? Sticky note?
So hey guys. My weekend with the Taycan is almost over. I feel like I'm going to cry when returning it lmao. First of all YOU guys are fricking amazing, such a warm community and so helpful. Been keeping all of the tips you guys gave me in mind. Love you all!
Now on the Taycan. It is an unbelievable experience. Driving has truly been ruined for me, I can't go back to my shitbox subaru now hahaha. The handling, the acceleration, the launch control... It is just absolutely insane! You can't put it into words lmao. I am in love. I had no reason to be afraid of it at all. If you want to you can drive it like flowing water, if you feel like punching it.. it's like a spaceship. Absolutely insane.
No joke, this weekend has been more for me than just driving it. This has given me so much motivation to keep pushing in life to achieve something like this in my life.
Now that Kraken has listed Shib, what is the impact? How was the reception on the new platform?
So far I see no measurable difference in the growth in number of holders nor an increase in price.
Thus far, the only increase was a pre-release pump of last minute buyers anticipating a leap in value so they could immediately sell afterward.
Again, please don't mistake this for FUD. It is quite the opposite. The exposure is a welcome addition, but I don't buy the hype.
UPDATE!
I've decided to take this one back to the shop. I found the literally only other option in Dublin has a similarly priced violin (and some very expensive ones) so I'll be giving that a shot to get a baseline comparison in my budget.
I also had a good and thorough look at the violin I have after some of the comments here. It is, as suggested, set up badly. It also just isn't very good now I'm really examining it and I don't think it's just the set up. The bridge is definitely too high but it also just has quite a bad tone, and maybe it's because of the set up again, but the strings don't vibrate well at all and it sounds boxy, for want of a better word - like the sound just isn't able to get out of the instrument.
I ended up pulling out my old violin which was a very cheap, very old now relic of my failed efforts as a kid/teen to learn and even on that, with 20+ year old strings, pegs that barely stick in their holes and three broken fine tuners, the strings vibrate better - almost like the strings on the β¬1500 one. It sounds better than the violin I've been learning on, though it gives me wrist cramp and falls out of tune almost instantly!
So I'm 100% selling the violin I bought when I got back into learning. Even with a setup, now I've played for a few months and gotten back to a level I'm happy with, it isn't what I want to spend the next few years playing. I might just get all new hardware on the one I kept for what I thought was purely sentimental value, but I'll speak to a luthier tomorrow and get some options.
Definitely upgrading my bow, the carbon fibre loaner was nice. Far better than a beginner bow so no hesitation in making that change.
Can I just say a big thanks for all the help and advice on this thread, I've never found a product so massively hard to buy so it's all been great.
I posted a few days ago looking for advice about buying in Dublin, Ireland.
Finally got to the shop here and as expected, they had a pretty limited range. I told them I was in the sub β¬2,000 price range and tried violins from β¬800 to β¬1200 mostly, and two more expensive ones. β¬1500 and β¬3500.
The β¬1500 was my favourite, so I took it home for a trial and while it's a clear upgrade to what I have, and plays and sounds very good - I would love to get some advice before pulling the trigger, because the limited selection meant I didn't get to test a lot in my price range

Two people testified as PRO out of three who signed up; no CONs. There were 43 people on record as PRO; 5 as CON.
The video discussion is about 12 minutes long - start watching at 8:15 minutes in; ends around 19:54 minutes. Nothing surprising, however the billβs introduction and the discussion by the primary sponsor provided good background information.

Today I kegged my Japanese lager. I fermented the lager for 2 weeks @ 12 degrees, let it slowly rise to 19 degrees and had it sit there for 3 days for a diacetyl rest and cleanup any residual sugars. Then I cool crashed it to 4C for about 5 days.
Image: https://imgur.com/a/ewbAfcY
Because I use glucoamylase in the mash I expected the FG to end up close to 1.000 and instead it ended at 1.008. I normally hit my numbers relatively steadily so I checked the apparent attenuation which was 83 percent: spot on attenuation for the yeas that I used (SafLager W34/70). The beer tastes great out of the fermenter and with some time lagering in the keg I'm sure it will drop clear in a few weeks. It now also has a more reasonable 5.5 percent ABV.
Even though N=1 it seems that adding glucoamylase to my mash has drastically increased the efficiency of the mash but it did not seem to alter the final fermentability of the beer.
Either glucoamylase is not working as I hypothesised or there is another parameter at play. I will explore adding glucoamylase in the fermenter as has been suggested in the earlier thread to see if that works as I had expected.Β Any other possible paths to explore?
It's easier to post a victory post rather than to come back to you to say that things did not work out the way that I had planned it. It seems my journey continues ;-)
Hi MicroFreakers,
We're still struggling with this one. Here's a much larger sub still struggling with enforcing their similar rule. Maybe they say the same sort of thing better than we do? Probably! That won't stop us from trying! Are you a persuasive wordsmith with a few minutes to spare to help us communicate with the community? We need the help.
Here's the latest take on rule #2:
"Leave a **great** comment when you post a link/video/img. Read more below. No low-effort comments.
If it's not in the body of your post, we require a killer comment - something descriptive to foster discussion.
Specifically, if you post a performance and do not describe how the MF was used, we'll delete it. This is a forum for discussion, so please start one with specific information about your video/img/link. Thanks!"
What are some examples of comments that would NOT satisfy rule #2 after you post a video of you using the Freak?

Or maybe it's better to share some examples of good comments?

I asked questions about refills earlier this month - thanks again for all the feedback! For background, I'm prescribed a relatively uncommon medication that I picked up on December 30th, 2021, and I want to make sure it's ready for pickup later this month (in case it's not in stock again).
https://www.reddit.com/r/WalgreensStores/comments/rtltks/question_for_pharmacisttech_on_auto_refills_and/
I ended up chatting with Walgreens (via the chat option with a tech), and they suggested the following - let me know if this makes sense, or if this is a good approach.
I submitted the refill request through the website (Add to cart, submit), and selected this Friday (Jan 21) for pickup - as that was the 'farthest out' I could select.
I added a note indicating that I was submitting the refill request early so that the store could ensure they had it in stock for refill later this month (between 28th and 30th) as I will be traveling.
I assume it's too early to submit to insurance - so do you think the above will give the pharmacy a proper 'heads-up' to order it, and fill it for between the 28th and 30th?
Thanks for your feedback!
TL;DR Warfare is the last content update(s) for SE, as Keen will switch focus to a new game.
I just want to get out of the way first that this post is entirely hypothetical. I have no insider sources that confirm what I am about to suggest. Keep this in mind if you are already angrily typing up a reply about how Keen's abandoning yet another game.
We all know what happened to Medieval Engineers. A big update was promised, it kind of fizzled out, there were expectations of continued support which did not happen, etc etc. ME was abandoned, to put it kindly.
I honestly believe that Keen has learned their lesson on that fiasco.
I found that Keen registered a trademark for Roman Engineers, located here on the European IPO website: https://euipo.europa.eu/eSearch/#details/trademarks/018411268.
Yesterday there was a Devs Lost in Space livestream, which was a Modders roundtable on Warfare 2 and the coding changes being enacted. You should watch it, there is a lot of good stuff coming in the Warfare 2 update.
It got me thinking. It sounds (if you take the livestream at face value) like Keen has gone out of their way to include some of the top modders in their decisions for Warfare 2 and Space Engineers in general going forward.
While I am not sure of the exact numbers, but Keen has about 100 people (or less) working for them, and I can only assume that a largish portion of that are working on Space Engineers. I mean, there have to be administrative assistants, coordinators, social media people and so on, so, I am guessing 50 or so people working on active development for SE. I am simply pulling numbers out of my behind, but I don't think I am far wrong.
If they are going to work on a new game, which, despite what Kienata asserted in the livestream, I think Keen is gearing up to do. They've registered a trademark for Roman Engineers, which I think is the game which will be the first to use a new version of their VRAGE engine.
If they are going to switch focus to developing a new engine, and a new game, they are going to have to either hire about 30-ish new people, which would obviously be noticed and we'd know what was going on... or they are going to switch support from SE to this new project.
Now, if as I suggest, Keen has learned from what happened with ME, Keen is not going to cast SE adrift. It does, if the install numbers from various Steam watching sites suggest, make a decent amount of money. They al

I'm not really feeling as though reporting anything at all is worth my time. I hinted at this in the other thread, but serendipity provided me with a real life example here.
Now, I don't personally feel that this is a credible threat, but imagine if it were, after having repeatedly telegraphed to those who are actively reporting violations that their reports are a waste of time.
Our ultrasound tech said that we needed to come back for a followup ultrasound because they couldn't get all the measurements they needed due to baby's position. They took a lot of measurements and she never said she couldn't find something. Is she really saying that there is a potential issue with baby that we need to come back for and trying not to worry us?
Hey! If you don't remember me, I made a post about 4 days ago asking about the vaccine and legal issues surrounding it. I was asked by a couple people to post a follow up, and figured that it would be a good way to inform and help those in similar situations to me.
I'll leave a link to my previous post I mentioned if you're looking for the context, but this post is mainly to quell the fears of those who want to do the same thing I did today.
What went down: Yesterday, i met with the friend of mine that would accompany me during the vaccination. I froze my location (helicopter parents want me to always have it on), and we immediately went looking for a clinic that offered walk in vaccinations. We'd already looked at some, so we had a plan if some weren't able to accommodate.
We did this pretty late in the day, so we weren't too surprised when some clinics weren't able to get a vaccine prepared for us, but the third place we visited ended up having an available vaccine.
We walked in, and asked them about their walk in program. Thankfully, they were able to prepare a vaccine for me in about 15 minutes, which was about the time it took me to fill out the paperwork.
The paperwork was pretty long, but the HIPAA confidentiality form was enough to make me feel secure in my decision (it's pretty damn thorough in it's wording). I filled out all the relevant information, and gave the paperwork back to the pharmacists.
One of the pharmacists actually caught on to what I was doing, and was incredibly sympathetic to the whole situation. (On the off chance you're reading this, thank you so fucking much.) They were very reassuring about the secrecy of the information, especially since half of it was my friends contact info.
After the paperwork, they led me to the back where they gave me the microchip (jkjk). The nurse that administered the shot actually had similar parents to mine (Texas amirite) and we talked a bit while I was on my 15inute timer about some of the crazy stuff our parents believed. Was pretty cool.
After my 15 minutes I was given my vaccine card, and just left. It was remarkably simple, and I felt pretty reassured in my actions. It's a nice feeling, and I'll be back in 3 weeks for the booster too! Parents still have no idea, so that's good.
I'll go ahead and detail some of the recommendations I have for other people planning to do what I did.
For other people in my position:
