A list of puns related to "Fitchburg"
The skeletonized remains of a white female decedent estimated in the 25-53 age range were found on May 1, 2015 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, Worcester County. The remains were in the brush of Baker's Brook off Lunenburg St, a residential area.
The body was measured at 5'2 and wrapped in a bedsheet. The decedent had brown hair measuring 16" in length.
Early reports indicated LEO thought the decedent could have been there at least a year but NAMUS has input 2005-2012 as possible time frame of death.
Local residents wonder if the body washed up into the brush of the brook after the spring thaw. (OP note: How likely would it be that a skeleton wrapped in a sheet would wash into the brush from elsewhere?)

We want YOU to join us at the table to play Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition in-person. If you are a fun and open-minded person interested in joining we would be happy to have you. No experience needed, beginners welcome!
The game will be set in the Eberron campaign setting. My hope is to set up the game as a Westmarches style to enable drop-in drop out play. I intend to mostly run homebrew content, possibly with some pre-made content sprinkled in.
We are looking into playing at the Noble Knight games playspace, and are looking to play on alternating saturday afternoons.
If this sounds interesting to you please let me know and I can send you a link to our discord.
Thanks!
I got tickets to see the new Spider-Man movie at the AMC Fitchburg 18 in the IMAX theater since Iβve never seen a movie in IMAX before, and I was just wondering what everyoneβs thoughts were on this theater? I have not been to it, I usually go to the Marcus theaters instead but the tickets were pretty sold out there, and again, I wanted to see a movie in IMAX.
Thanks in advance!
I (21M) will be moving to Madison within the next few months. My budget is 1300 and I need a place that has parking for my car. I know that the downtown area has a lot of young professionals, but can the same be said for apartments in west Madison and Fitchburg?
Iβm drawn to living outside of the downtown area because the prices seem to be ~$300/ month cheaper for similar sizes and quality apartments. However, I also want to be able to explore the city and go to the bars every once in a while. Would it be worth it to get a smaller and cheaper apartment downtown just to be near everything or would it be plausible to live in Fitchburg/west Madison and drive to the city on weekends to go out?
Iβd love to hear from people who have lived in these areas and their experiences!
Hi guys,
I don't want to come off as too promotional, but I wanted to let people on here know that we are open for Sunday testing for the Holidays starting this Sunday (11/21) from 10 AM to 2 PM. We end the Sunday testing in mid-January.
A lot of airlines have a restriction of PCR testing within 72 hours of takeoff. I think this may be dependent on the destination. If there's someone that works at an airline that's reading this, clarification would be great. Unfortunately, it can take 2-3 days just to get your results. To my knowledge, I can't think of a lot of places testing on Sundays but that doesn't really stop the fact that may need a test that day if you're traveling Tuesday.
General Info:
-You have to register through https://register.covidconnect.wi.gov/en-US/. Just google "covid connect" and it should be the first thing that pops up unless there is an advertisement.
-At the end it will ask you where you'd like to test. You don't need to pick anything, the QR code you get will work at any COVID testing place.
-This QR code is like a "one-time-use" thing. If you use it once and come again, it won't work. You'll have to do that survey again. The QR code is good for 7 days after completion.
-If you're flying, I'd suggest testing twice. Once 3 days before your flight and 2 days before your flight. For the test 3 days before your flight, test AFTER your take-off time. For example, if your plane takes off on Friday at 2 PM, you will want to test on Tuesday at like 2:30PM AND Wednesday.
-Double/triple check your name, DOB, and email if you're flying. A bunch of people have come in complaining how we spelled their names wrong when we're not the ones actually entering that information in. There's nothing we can do if you spell your own name wrong and the airline rejects you on that basis. The email should be double-checked because that's how you get your results.
Thanks for reading and safe travels!
Ten minutes after they opened there were about 50 cars in line.
I posted maybe 3 weeks ago now about how I felt my teacher was biased against me in grading, and asked advice on it. People said to definitely take action against him and so I did, officially filing a complaint with the school and requesting a grade change. Currently we're within the process for it, however I was recently informed that he is now a professor at Fitchburg State University. I created a PSA for it along with fellow students, and posted it on their Reddit page, however I'm posting it here as well if anyone here either attends that school or knows someone who does so they can be aware.
As taken from my post for Fitchburg State:
PSA About New Teacher, J**d Graf
"Hello. I don't currently attend Fitchburg State but I attend one of the previous schools he taught at. His conduct is currently being investigated by the school for prejudice against women when grading. There is documented evidence of abuses not limited to:
The worst currently recorded incident is allowing a male student to sexually harass and threaten to rape a female student during class time, and frankly ignoring the incident taking no action against the male student.
Mind you this is an investigation and there is no official result yet, however we [7 students] believe this matter is extremely important to alert his potential students to, and encourage all students to attend other classes if possible. This behavior needs to be acknowledged and all students; both male and female, should not be exposed to explicitly biased behavior. Thank you for your time."
Every Sunday this summer from 8-11am a group of people show up to a bank parking lot near my house. Every time one of them leaves they rev their engines and speed away reliving their little Tokyo drift fantasies as they blow down McKee going 90. I havenβt been able to sleep in on a Sunday this summer yet because theyβre so loud and the cops donβt seem to give a shit. Am I the only one?
