Have you found any nano species especially good at killing aquarium pests on their own, avoiding the need for you to do it?
If so, what species were they, and what types of pests did they give an unpleasant welcome to?
I added two pieces of spiderwood to my tank (found at petco, said it was good for terrariums and aquariums) about two days ago and already three fish passed away. Idk if this is a really big coincidence or I’m just a terrible fish keeper. My ammonia is at 0 and ph is around 8. I feel so frustrated that I keep losing fish. It makes me just wanna give up on this hobby sometimes because I spend so much time reading this sub and doing research and I can’t seem to get it right. I wish there was an actual fish doctor I could pay to help me sort this out
I have a comet and a black moor. We do weekly changes and clean with the gravel vacuum.
Tonight we did our regular change and now they’re both just sitting at the bottom, kind of sideways.
I don’t know what we did wrong. We have had them for about 2 months and haven’t had any issues.
They’re both pretty small still and they’re in a 40g tank.
I’m fairly new to fish keeping, my kids got them during a parade. I’m just baffled by what might have caused it? I feel they won’t make the night.
In Season 1, Episode 17: Red Hood, the manager of the organ trafficking facility tells Fish she has two choices: One, he kills her and everyone in the basement because while that's inconvenient, they can always find more. Or two, they take her eyes then and there, because how long will a blind girl survive in the basement?
Fish tells him he forgot option three, then takes out her own eye and crushes it, by which the manager is horrified. That made no sense to me. She has another eye you can remove, thereby completing option two, and option one is still wholly available.
There's absolutely no issue here. The manager has lost nothing. What the hell was Fish reasonably hoping to accomplish?

I’ve been noticing my platys flashing very frequently, when I looked at them I noticed white spots on their tails. I plan on getting aquarium salts on Saturday, will they be fine during this period?

i remember once i had to gut a fish and there was still poo in it so i think minecraft should make it a feature otherwise they are teaching wrong
I think my newest plant from a couple of weeks ago brought anchor worms into my tank and yesterday I noticed nearly all my fish in the tank have some level of problem with anchor worms sticking out of their butt. I have brought a parasite killer (eSHa gdex) recommended by lfs owner but I'm scared it won't work for the adults. Can anyone help me, any advice?
