A list of puns related to "Fenugreek"
Does anyone have experience of Fenugreek supplement, I read it increasing testosterone by over 40% in many men.
Once a yoga instructor came to our school and we can't believe that she is a 60 year old. She had great skin for her age and a fresh glowing look that nearly most of the old age women doesn't have. I thought yoga has such a great impact. But she revealed that the extra secret is the soaked fenugreek water. So I gave it a try. I soaked a tsp of fenugreek in a glass of water (after rinsing once) overnight. And I drink the water in the next morning. I grind the seeds in mortar& pestle and apply to my face till it's dry. (Washing it is a bit hassle as it sticks to the face) Gently wash away after like 15 mins. I take a 30mins walk in the morning and evening.
TIP: When I started at first, the taste was not at all encouraging, i even found it nauseous. The trick is simple, just don't smell it(or pinch your nose) and drink it in one gulp and put some sugar in your tongue. That's it.
I saw a visible glow in the first usage. Don't get me started about how my redness developed by scary pimples got faded. On continuous usage, I never had a painful pimple there after. I also had painful and irregular periods before using it, which eventually went back to normal. And I got addicted to the results.
The glow is continuous, but the healing process and the lightening effect may take a longer period. And my skin had visible improvement in 3 months.
But too much of anything is not good. So I didn't continue it regularly after 3 months. After that I had a little pain (much better than what I experience before) during periods, so tried drinking it only during mensus.
But the glow I had never faded as I drank normal water in the place of it in other days and done the morning & evening walk as I did before.
You shouldn't use fenugreek if you're pregnant. This herb has been used to induce labor, and it can cause contractions, premature labour, and miscarriage
It's been 4 years, since I tried that daily, and had great skin so far. Only using it during periods. People even ask me if I'm using any skin brightening cream but I didn't. And I don't even have a perfect skincare routine. I have been using the dove soap or Himalaya face wash for cleansing and lacto calamine lotion that's it. But recently, I developed some CC's and breakout after using a new sunscreen, and I'm going back to the routine of using it daily to calm my skin. (Trying to incorporate a sunscreen after following this sub, lol!) โskin type: Combination, sensitive. (Not acne prone sinc
... keep reading on reddit โกHey all,
I'm still in the planning stages of a brew. Was thinking along the lines of a 50/50 wheat/Pils malt base, maybe some lactose, fermented with Philly sour, with blueberries and perhaps a touch of charred American oak in secondary. I was thinking it might pair well with a maple syrup note too. Given that I'm in new Zealand and genuine maple syrup is expensive AF, I was thinking about using fenugreek seeds. I've read that these can give a similar flavour to maple syrup. Having never used them before I thought I'd through it open to the fine redditors of the interwebs.
Thoughts on method, dosage or whether I'm going to make a blueberry curry beer?
The dal makhani recipe I used went private and I hadnโt saved the recipe, but I found the same one with the exception of frying fenugreek with the cumin instead of adding it at the end. I figured Iโd give that a shot and for the past six days my house has smelled like fenugreek. Iโve wiped down the nearby surfaces and left out bowls of vinegar. The smell has gone down but itโs still there. Is there any end in sight or will I need to take more serious measures?
take this harmless little supplement, they said. itll make your boobs bigger and your coochie smell like maple syrup, they said. who wouldn't want big naturals and a sweet-smelling cooch?
WELL. a couple weeks into taking it I'm experiencing constant and extreme hunger. It occurred to me that it could be fenugreek-related so I went off it. my period rolls around and it's barely a period; no cramps and extremely light. My hunger cravings petered out but were replaced by a LACK of appetite, brain fog, fatigue and....extremely persistent bloating, mostly in my lower stomach. i cut out gluten to see if i had an intolerance and saw no change. i would go to bed bloated, wake up bloated. i exercised, ate less, ate slower, took gas medicine, nothing, no change, still bloated. bowel movements normal. 2 preg tests say negative, i get my dookie tested for parasites, thyroid levels checked, nothing amiss, no one has a clue.
2 weeks after my last weird non-period and I'm bleeding again, heavier now but still lighter than a normal period. almost no cramps except a slight intermittent pain on my lower left side. suddenly my symptoms seem to be adding up to a big fat ovarian cyst, and what do i find? taking hormone-based medicine meant to stimulate fertility and ovulation can cause these.
I'm not 100% sure yet, but I have a gyn appointment on Friday and I have pretty good instincts about my body. even if it's not a cyst, my hormones are very clearly out of whack. don't be an idiot like me and start popping supplements because people on tiktok said it was a good idea. this has been genuinely nightmarish.
EDIT: i know my post was humorous/flippant in tone but I also took fenugreek in the hopes that it would alleviate my horridly painful periods as people say it can and in a roundabout way it...kind of has. I stopped taking it as soon as I started noticing adverse effects and as a person who regularly consumes alcohol (literal poison) like most people of my age group the world over, an herbal supplement didn't seem that risky :) just because there are limited studies on something doesn't mean there should be and I'm tired of potentially beneficial supplements, particulary with regards to women's health, not being allocated any funding for research. def going to ask my doctor next time before adding anything into the daily routine but if you feel the need to scold me, scroll onwards.
I don't want to buy off Amazon as I want to see it physically before buying. Any leads, please?
Has anyone tried fenugreek after going through mastectomy? If so, what are your experiences? I really miss having breasts and Iโve been considering fenugreek for a while but I havenโt found any info about it related to top surgery
Hello fellow breastfeeders,
I have had a recent supply drop. Not sure why, but I had a stressful week at work last week and didnโt get to pump as frequently as usual. Also, I have switched thyroid medicine, although the OB doesnโt think that would contribute to the supply drop.
OB recommended Fenugreek and more frequent pumping. Has anyone else had similar recommendations, and did this help? I went from pumping 3-4 oz at a time to about 1, so looking for any advice.
Thanks
After researching supplements which have been clinically proven to increase testosterone production, these four kept popping up. I haven't seen any reports of people stacking all 4, can anyone offer any input into why this would or would not be a good idea?
