A list of puns related to "Fender Precision Bass"
I need the opinion of a real fender bass connoisseur for this one, Iβm looking to buy one of the two basses, have not had a chance to play either (I know not recommended but I have played a lot of P basses and know I love them). I want to know which is βbetterβ and by how much, I am personally leaning more towards the 75th anniversary but its also more expensive, so I wanted to know if maybe somebody has both of them or has played them both and could tell me more :)
Does anyone have a picture of the electronics from a Fender Precision Plus Bass? (The bass was produced from 1989-1993 and is often known as the Longhorn Bass.) In particular the TBX pot and the 3 way selector switch? Thanks!
I have the opportunity to trade my 2005-2006 Japanese Geddy Lee Jazz for a 2008 American Precision bass of comparable condition and accessories. Opinions?
**Update: Keeping the Geddy Lee. Thanks for the input.
Trying to choose between the two. Both second hand. I am trying to learn bass for the first time so comfort is very important. I want to be inspired to play.
I've been playing JBass for years, now I want to buy Fender Aerodyne II or Fender Player Plus PBass. Any thoughts on Fender Player Plus? I kinda like the noiseless pickups and love how the PBass "sits in the mix". The difference in prices are not much, about 100 bucks more (1200 vs 1100) than the Fender Aerodyne II . Any recommendations in that price range for the PBass?
I'm looking to purchase a Precision bass this December, but I can't decide to go for a Player or a MIM Standard. What are your guys' thoughts on this? Which one has the better build quality?
I'm currently hunting for a new bass, most likely a Precision style. I've been looking at getting a Fender Am Pro II, but looks like they're back ordered until next spring. That's not an issue for me really, but I wanted to see if people had other ideas. A local shop deals in Nash and has a p63 in stock, but I've read mixed things about Nash it seems. Any other small builders (ideally below 2k) in the US who make killer P basses that will last for the next. . . forever?
Thanks!
