A list of puns related to "Fatigue Strength"
I purchased these 4 programs, and they are very interesting. They appear to be quite low volume compared to most BBM templates, and Iβm excited to run them.
Currently Iβm 2 days into the 3 day medium intraset fatigue program and Iβm really enjoying the way sets and reps are programmed- basically do a set at rpe 7, then keep weight the same and get x many reps done while keeping each set rpe 7. Iβve never seen programming done this way before and itβs super fun to train like this.
Chose 3 day instead of 4 bc my plan is to replace both gpp days with glute hypertrophy work (hip thrusts), along with some pull ups, yoga, and LISS cardio.
Anyone else trying these novel strength programs? What are your thoughts? And does anyone know how effective this style of low-fatigue training would be for hypertrophy? Iβm planning my hip thrusts to follow the same basic concept (keeping each set rpe 7) just increasing the volume.
It's been a downward trajectory, and I wasn't very strong to begin with. I feel so tired and fatigued rn and I even had a energy juice. Keep freezing/overheating. And unrelated I think but not helping, the stinging burny nerve pain in my leg is being a bitch. Ow.
Hey all
Relatively new to karate (4 months-ish). Firstly thanks to everyone who offered advice on my first grading. Couple comments on timing but I passed.
Moving onto the new syllabus weβre focusing a lot on back stance. This is killing my thighs at the moment as itβs working muscles I never knew I had, especially one side as I have to hold during my kata.
Any tips for building up strength and conditioning my legs for this stance?
DAE is on paroxetine/paxil and has experienced loss of strength and fatigue?
Hedgies think they can ware us out with all of their psychological tactics. Lol jokes on them I just havenβt been checking the stock. Didnβt even know the sub 200 dip happened until today.
Wake me up when Iβm rich otherwise the current price doesnβt matter to me.
I bought a used bike last fall. It has some ODI cross trainer on it. I have been riding 3-4 times a week for 1.5 month. I went to a bigger bike park last sunday and I feel like my hand are a bit weaker. I have a mild case of death grip in thechnical terrain, but I am pretty loose in faster descent.
I am looking for more ergonomic or softer grip. I ride enduro style trail.
The ergon grips seams like a good choice, but I dont know which one to get. The Rev grip are also really appealing. I have a 35mm alloy bar.
Any input on the subject? Suggestion on which grip to get?
I have been taking paroxetine 60mg for severe ocd, and i have experienced extreme fatigue and loss of srength !! What should i do to fix that if possible??
For everyone who needs this wisdom...
Go placidlyΒ amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons; they are vexatious to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter, for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be.
And whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

Over time as people have discovered various ways to cheese skills, BSG have removed the ability to level strength by, for example, jumping or breaching doors.
The way skill fatigue works essentially puts an (asymptotic) upper limit on skill leveling for each raid. However, at the moment not only is the upper bound rather low (meaning that skills MUST be leveled extremely slowly), but also many of the things that used to level skills no longer do. The most extreme example of this is strength, which can only be leveled by throwing grenades, walking while overweight, or by hitting melee attacks.
It takes several hundred grenades to level strength for the vents - alternatively, one could walk for months of ingame time with a full backpack. The reason why the requirements are so high is to prevent players from cheesing the skills, but the current system prevents players from leveling at any reasonable speed. (While meleeing a teammate is arguably the fastest way, it is without a doubt cheese and its relative practicality demonstrates that the system is broken.)
The ideal leveling mechanic would of course reward aspects of normal gameplay, while minimizing the effectiveness of "cheesy" strategies. The system we currently have removes all depth and interactivity from skills, turning them into a glorified "hours played" counter.
The solution is to re-add lots of different ways to level skills. Since there is now precedent for asymptotic upper bounds on skills, leveling strength by jumping will no longer lead to people jumping in a corner for the entire raid.
On top of that, each individual source of XP should have its own fatigue (in addition to or instead of the skill-specific fatigue). This punishes uninteractive strategies such as jumping in corners or falling out of bounds, and rewards players that jump, throw grenades, crouch, melee, breach doors, loot, and extract successfully. Even a bot designed to level as fast as possible would ultimately at least resemble normal gameplay, and would not be greatly more efficient than simply playing the game successfully.
This also allows more fine-tuned control over the intended pacing of leveling. Nearly all players are expected to jump, crouch, sprint etc, so adjusting these actions' XP would essentially be adjusting a baseline leveling rate. Less common actions like grenade throws, melee, breaching, and carrying heavy weight could have a larger effect - giving players more control over their leveling by adjustin

Hi guys,
A question about fatigue and how it affects yield strength.
I'm working on a steel transport belt. During normal operation the cyclic load stays 3.5x below the yield strength, 5x below the UTS. So far so good in terms of fatigue.
However, during maintenance breaks, cleaners need to be able to stand on the belt. So an incidental high load. The design has been changed such, that the belt stays below its yield strength during this high load (bottom plate prevents high deflection). So a new belt will be able to handle the incidental high load.
But is that still the case after 3 years? will the yield stress stay the same value or will it reduce over time? Will the belt at some point break unexpectedly during this high load? Or the other way around, does an incidental high-but-below-yield load even have a significant effect on the lifetime? (I feel like I'm staring too much at the S-N curve, but I'm not sure if that even applies to this incidental interruption)
I'm thinking this question is more about the principles behind it, but if some numbers help to paint the picture:
For those who regularly go to gym and also take immunosuppressants, do you feel more tired working out right after taking the immunosuppressants pills?
In the past few years I have noticed that almost as soon as it starts to hit 60/70 degrees on a daily basis I feel like I can lift more weight and for more reps. Inversely it seems like once cold weather comes around my lifts go down and I have a lot less energy. My nutrition and recovery factors have stayed the same for the past year so I think I can rule those out. Is there a science behind this or am I an anomaly?
Just a thought really. I hurt my hip doing non gym related activities and had to take a couple weeks off. And I've noticed it before but for the first one or two workouts my grip strength/stamina just goes down the toilet. I can pull my deadlifts fine at maximum weight but slowly through the rows then accessory lifts etc. my forearms just give up way sooner than they ought to. And then it's back to normal after a couple of sessions.
Just wondering if this is a common issue, I'd be curious to know why it happens.
A great article my friend posted on Facebook. The full test can be found here:

Does anyone who does weights and strength training have increased soreness of joints and muscles while on accutane?
I have been on accutane for nearly a year now, 20mg a day dose. Training isn't new to me as I have been working out with heavy weights for 6 years - crossfit, weightlifting and now competive powerlifting. I am so tired all the time, I feel like I don't recover properly, all my joints hurt and my DOMS are worse than ever. I take high grade fish oil and magnesium and I'm drinking an incredible amount of water. My diet is also very good. I think it's just the medication but I need to know if anyone else with a simialr lifystyle is experiencing these symptoms.
I also cannot think clearly or articulate my words properly. The dryness I can deal with but this fog, pain and fatigue is horrible.
