I’m wondering how many of us have gone through or been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism or Graves’ Disease since getting covid? Have anyone one of you experienced facial changes?
hey guys. i dont have graves disease but my eyes bulge even more. a doctor has advised me to get OD surgery done. i hacve some reservations for such extreme step. can I just use glasses to hide my eyes? because I get worried more by people staring at me and keeping their distances off me.
I'm a 27-year-old white male. 5'9, 135 lbs. I have Wegener's Granulamatosis and have been dealing with a terrible flare up for the past 3-4 months. I was in remission from 2009 til June of 2017. I have been diagnosed with pachymeningitis & cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) as complications of the flare. I now have proptosis (Exophthalmos) which is bulging of both of my eyes. The neuro-ophthalmologist is not sure what the exact cause of the bulging was but I am scheduled to meet an ocular plastic surgeon at Duke University to plan to work on my eyes once the flare has resolved. This apparently is permanent. I have normal thyroid labs as that was the first thing they looked for. I am wondering what is the outlook for correcting the bulging eyes. Will I be able to look normal again? Or is there going to be at least some damage there even after orbital decompression surgery? I think that is the procedure that must take place. I am also dealing with cushingoid (moon face) and saddle nose deformity due to the flare but the focus here is on the bulging of my eyes. Any advice on my future outlook will help. Thanks in advance
I have a client this week who suffers from exophthalmos, meaning that her eyes protrude due to a thyroid condition. This makes her eyes quite sensitive, and she's unable to use mascara and some eyeshadows and eyeliners. I'd also like to try and play down the protuberant effect. Has anyone ever encountered this before?
I was able to access some great information on this a few months ago when this client initially booked on a website called blushdiaries.com, unfortunately that website is down now :(
I'd welcome any ideas as to how I can manage this client's specific needs. I'd also love to know if any of you with especially sensitive eyes have any preferred brands that don't irritate them. TIA!

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
