Hallo Zusammen, was haltet Ihr in eine Investition in Europcar für die „post corona“ Zeit (mittelfristiges Investment) ? Das Teil ist stark unter die Räder gekommen. Im November hatte Volkswagen die Aktienmehrheit übernommen wodurch ich eine Insolvenz etc. aktuell ausschließen würde. Danke für Eure Meinung!
Meine Bank hat mir mitgeteilt, dass Europcar aufgekauft wird. Die neue Firma möchte meine Aktien abkaufen, sollte ich verkaufen? Möchte eigentlich die Aktien behalten. Was passiert, wenn ich es nicht mache?

Wie hoffentlich bekannt will VW Europcar übernehmen. Heute werden sehr viele Aktien an den Börsen verkauft. Es ist ein außergewöhnliches Volumen. Hat jemand eine Idee was da passiert? Ich habe meine 20.000 Stück und warte erst mal bis Q1 2022. Für ein nagelneuen Buli kann VW die Anteile haben😎
We rented a car through Europcar (Ireland), the hire included Collision Damage Waiver, Third-party Liability, and Theft Protection.
We also organised our own private car hire insurance for other damaged (CarHireExcess.com)
When we arrived at the counter to pick up the car, the lady informed us that it was compulsory that we had to buy the Premium Coverage Insurance.
What made things slightly more complicated is my (the driver) credit card was faulty and wouldn't be processed in their machine (I think I've got it wet and damaged). So, the lady said we needed to pay the higher Premium Coverage because we were using my partner's credit card and she wouldn't be driving.
It was my understanding that we would receive a refund for this but we haven't received anything. But now that I'm reading up on it, I feel we have been mislead into having to buy this Premium Coverage. Has anyone else had this experience? Can anyone help with this.
