A list of puns related to "Electromagnetic Pulse In Popular Culture"
I went all in on unstable genome, with irritable genome and chimera, and it took until level 20 to get my fifth and final choice.
Options are Phasing, Spinnerets (with limb), and Electromagnetic Pulse.
Current mutations:
Poison stinger
Heightened quickness
Multiple legs
Sleep gas
Beak (I spent 4 MP for this?!)
I was thinking that emp and sleep gas might go well together, but now I'm hearing that it's kind of a waste.
Thoughts?
I'm working on a scifi novel, and one of the scenarios involves using some kind of emp or magnetic resonance device to stimulate deep seismic activity.
What sort of mechanism would something like this require, in theory? No real constraints on practical things like budget, etc. I guess the standard answer would be buried nuclear devices, but I'm looking for something that involves a little more engineering, and something that could potentially be disguised, like a repurposed particle accelerator or something along those lines.
Thanks!
For a uni project I'm doing an experiment where I will do measurements on the electromagnetic pulse emitted by a coil, but I have a hard time finding (mathematical) information about the emitted pulse.
I have the following questions:
What is the best way to create the pulse? Should I charge a capacitor and discharge it through a coil? Or should I let a current run through a coil and shortcircuit the coil with itself?
And do you know any literature or equations that could help me understand the magnitude and oriΓ«ntation of the emitted pulse?
Thanks in advance!
I work in tech, I have 3 computers and about 10 smartphones (both Android and iOS) on my desk. I noticed that when I use the torch to heat up the dyna, when it clicks, some of the devices' screens turn on; on the laptop it's like if you touched the mousepad when the screen is off, it turns on, also on some Android devices the screen lights up like when you press the power button. Additionally, when heating up the dyna with a torch in the dark, I noticed some sparks when it clicks (sometimes).
Is the click generating a micro electromagnetic pulse? Or what can be the explanation?
Has anybody else noticed this?
Disclaimer: I have been stoned for the past 20 some years now ππ G'day y'all!
If the supposedly average penis is about 5'' in length and 4.5'' in girth, why do most women (based on anecdotal evidence of course) see it as "little" or even "tiny". The real "average" in popular culture seems to be 7'' by 6'' or so. All my partners told me that I was the smallest they've had (5.1'' by 3.9'').
