A list of puns related to "Early Iron Age"
Study of the bone remains of two female warriors from Jrapi (Shirak Province, Armenia) burial ground (Burial 3) revealed a multiple array of traumatic lesions, which shed light on their daily activities, occupation, and warfare practice. Both women had compressive cranial lesions with the signs of healing. A bronze arrowhead once embedded in the soft tissues of the intercostal space was discovered as well as a canal in the lower epiphysis of the tibia probably left by the broken point of a bronze arrowhead. The women were likely horse riders and archers. The remains unearthed in Burial N 3 belonged to two females who seemed to live as professional warriors and were buried as individuals of rank. This tomb is the third burial discovered in Armenia that provides evidence on female warriors.

This paper is best enjoyed with dolma and a bottle of pomegranate wine, or, if you're in a harsher mood,a glass of Soviet era Ararat and a fine cigar.
How sure are we that the riches king ever did not live in a united Israel during the time the Bible says so? Is there any substantial evidence for or against it? Or is it just the lack of evidence?
In my story, the protagonist is trying to cross a ravine about 100 feet (30m) wide so her army can lay siege to the enemy castle beyond. There are trees on both sides, but all the existing bridges have been destroyed. There are several obstacles in the way. First, the ravine is too deep to build any supports and is too treacherous to climb. Second, the enemy army has patrols on the other side of the ravine that will attack any attempt to bridge the gap. Sending soldiers to circumvent the ravine would also take far too long, as it stretches the entire country's length.
I've been thinking about how the protagonist's army would cross the ravine, but I'm stumped in terms of ideas. All the bridge types I've researched require both sides to have workers, which is not possible in my story. I could use some help with suggestions!
To what extent were Scythian peoples across Eurasia "turkified" during the Early Middle Ages? Did Eastern European Turkic peoples like the Bolghars and Khazars have any ancestral or cultural links with earlier groups like the Alans and Sarmatians?
How do you or other people define the Industrial Revolution?
For me its the following things that happened in 1800s Britain:
-Factories, Steam power/engines and Railroads
-Mass-production of high-quality steel, copper and other metals
-Production of new tools that multiplied worker productivity
(I know there are other aspects but these are the ones I focus on)
Early Modern Era is 1500s to 1800s, crossing with the Age of Sail and other events. How would an Industrial Revolution in the 1500s change the fate of the Native Americans, Muslims, Asians and Africans?
How different would the Bronze Age Hittites and Assyrians be if they were Industrialized?
Would Ancient Israel Industrialize if its neighbors did, even if it means changing everything, or resist and face earlier destruction than in our history?
Does the Persian Empire curbstomped the Greeks if both groups were Industrialized due to the formers unity, better administration and larger economic/population?
Which nations/civilizations/tribes in each region/subcontinent in each time period would be most suited for an Industrial Revolution with the help of a Time-traveler?
Does Industrialization pre-1800s allow small nations or tribes to curbstomp their bigger neighbors? To blob up into large empires?
Do these Industrialized nations convince the slaves of their enemies to revolt in exchange for becoming their citizens?
Would a pre-1800s Industrial Revolution cause many nations to be hyper-expansionist?
Does Early Modern, Medieval and/or Ancient China become ultra-expansionist, semi-egalitarian and more multi-cultural if they were Industrialized?
What other rammifications would there be for an earlier Industrial Revolution?

Undoubtedly this would vary depending on the culture, region and ability.
Blade weapons must have left horrible wounds. What would happen to fallen warriors?
