What's your type and what kinds of profiles are appealing to you? How do you craft your own profile to appeal to your duals?
I don't know about N types mixing with S types. Won't they just want to talk about abstract things vs sensor things and wear each other out by wanting to discuss different things and having different interests?
What have your first hand experiences dating your dual have been like?
I wanted to share this because I figure it's not that common.
There's nothing in here we haven't discussed between ourselves- none of this would come as a surprise to him if he were to read it.

Communication
Accurate information exchange is the norm between us. When we disagree, he says that I clearly express disagreements, and I've noted the same about him.
One exception seems to be when I make statements that are open-ended and he takes them as definitive, or he makes statements that are definitive and I take them as open-ended. It happens relatively often in both directions, but is quickly clarified.
He noted one additional communication hiccup. He says I'm not responsive to his Ni- when he "tries to Ni something" or "asks Ni questions" (his phrasing), I don't naturally pick up on it. He's dated other Ni egos (typed by him) before and he said they usually pick up where he left off and continue his train of thought.
He seems frustrated if we disagree and he is not able to convince me of his position after some dialog. Maybe he prefers a partner who is more aligned with him, or at least one who assents, which is fair enough.
Additionally, he seems to take disagreements very seriously, while I usually (not always) disagree mostly for shits. I'm not concerned about convincing him of a position I don't even hold, while he often seems determined to convince me of his position. So this is another area where we need to clarify our intentions.
Interests/Activities
It's important to remember that duals are fundamentally different people. They are of opposite club. Their strengths, interests, and focus areas tend to be dissimilar. One of the theorized benefits of duality is that each party can introduce the other to their "world", providing balance to both halves.
Indeed, our interests are very dissimilar and we have little we can do together. He is mostly interested in physical activities and I'm mostly interested in mental ones. Secondly, when I do physical activities, it's for exercise and occasionally fun, while he seems to be more "intense" in comparison.
Addressing the second point first. It's remarkable how similar he is to my ex who I typed as LSI. Both men are heavily into sports/other athletics/physical training, shooting, performance driving, skydiving, etc. While all of these are common ho

DATING: I'm looking to date. In an ideal world, this would happen IRL. With COVID and distance, might not be feasible but if I can find someone close enough... ;)
Hopefully dating will lead to something more serious than casual. I'm not strictly looking for monogamy, but not against it either. Sexual freedom with a steady romantic partner would be ideal... even if I'm not sure I'd ever actually utilize the freedom.

BASIC INFO
Been against having my own kids for a long time. I was able to get sterilized in March, when COVID was just becoming a thing but hadn't stopped elective surgeries yet.
