Hey y'all,

Very disheartened right now. After months of trying I was finally able to get a flawless DSC run with some people from lfg. We were super excited, and you can tell I was like panicking when looking for the triumph...

But it wasn't there.

Everyone else got their triumph except for me, and I have no idea what happened. I was in there from start to finish (it even says so on Raidreport)...

I earned this triumph fair and square, and I don't know if I'll ever be able to do it again; given how long it took to even find a group for this.

Idek if this is just bugged forever so I'm scared to try again.

Please help, or just give your condolences. This is a very sad day for me.

It's probably too late to do this tbh, everyone is moving onto WQ which is totally cool I will too in February, but it would definitely be cool if there was more in the DSC. If they had set it up for a raid lair or something where you fight and explore more of the DSC. As it is the Raid is Almost entirely outside of the actual Crypt. I would really enjoy something that helped flesh out the experience more.

I know the Lament quest and some of the fragment quests take you deeper in but they don't quite do it for me. I would definitely have enjoyed more.

Why in the world she didn't tell me is beyond me. She says she got it to watch Evil, whatever that is. But I know what I'm watching tonight!

When Discovery approached Vulcan, now Ni'Var (nice deep cut fan reference there) and it is revealed that the Vulcans and Romulans achieved reunification after the tragedy of the Romulan supernova. It shows that Spock's work was not in vain. Spock's legacy is one of lasting peace and prosperity for his home planet and their estranged siblings. It's such a beautiful reveal and it made me cry.

Then a Star Trek: Into Darkness Klingon will come in and say something that totally ruins the moment.

We've trash talked override and Astral Alignment, talked up Menagerie and Sundial is a mixed bag, some love it some hate it.

Maybe it's mechanics of nuclear descent, a tight space, juggling mechanics (bombs, roles/augments, stunning the boss, naming the dump spots), the threat of a wipe and when the encounter is about to go down, you get that final Gauntlet, maybe that's what makes it so likeable. Maybe even with matchmaking, we could use the threat of a wipe, diverting mechanics and such.

Messing around with some DSC OOB stuff solo and the door leading into the first encounter won't open. Do you need a minimum of 2 people on your fireteam for it to open? Haven't seen any information anywhere about this

edit: I was going too fast, you have to wait for the pykes to spawn at the sparrow entrance

We've completed Deep Stone Crypt flawless in two man without changing character and joining allies (December 19, 2021. Done by Karisol and HUDODRISH).
Initially we wanted to complete flawless DSC with only legit Descent encounter, but trying that, we understood that we can avoid changing character on the first encounter as well by breaching through the textures a little further.
There is even more crazy idea - to complete all raid with no "out of bounds". The problem is random on the first encounter. We can see only 2 of 6 bottles through the floor, so another 4 are random. Chance to complete this encounter successfully with random shooting is about 4%. As for watching buttons, it is possible if scanner moves fast and watch buttons on one side and go to another before door closes. We tried it a few times and this strat is possible, but takes a lot of time, so we stopped.
Quality of video is low as well as audio (we are russians so there is no english speech), but we needed some confirmation besides Raid report. There are links below, if anyone is interested:

I will provide all information, I will also provide additional support to any new players providing loadout advice, general destiny mechanics and helpful tips as well. If you have any special needs, or requirements I will try and fulfill them to the best of my ability.

General Loadout Tips

✿ Linear / Fusion rifles are great for all Encounters (vorpal :P)

✿ Supers for Add clear or whatever primary you prefer

✿ Some Great exotics sleeper stimulant, 1k voices, arbalest, Lorentz driver, Gjallarhorn

✿ Lament / Legend swords are great for add clear stages

✿ Overload Champions (Bring mods)

For some basic requirements, please be around the required light level power, Slug shotguns are great for this raid so at least one will help a lot if you need more loadout advice I can work with what you have once we get into the raid. Hello all, I'll be doing a DSC Sherpa at 8pm GMT on Sunday. One spots already taken so I'm looking for 4 more. Aside from the privacy topic, what features or edge do alarm.com systems (thinking Qolsys, Honeywell, Dsc) have that Ring does not.

For this discussion, we can ignore: Water shutoff due to leak or water presence, general smoke/co alarm, temperature/humidity sensors. I have a Moen Flo smart water valve and hard wired Smoke/CO system.

I'm a returning player since a couple of weeks ago and have been grinding to get good gear.

Regarding the fuses in the security encounter, I feel that my damage on the tubes is sooooo low!

My loadout for that section is a slug in primary, Trinity Ghoul w/ cat, and a Vorpal Threaded Needle. I generally hit the fuses with Threaded Needle, I think I'm only doing like 5k per shot if I remember correctly.

Is threaded needle a decent gun for the fuses and I should just run with it, or would something be better.

Note that I do not have 1k. I do have xeno but I heard the nerf was pretty bad plus I don't want to have to get of my Trinity Ghoul, unless you convince me that I should .

I had so much fun with an LFG team, and we did it within an hour. This was the only destiny raid outside of LW i was yet to do, and when compared to something like Crota's End it was just breathtaking. The first encounter had me using weapons I never thought I'd use in a raid: a kinetic bow, fourth horseman and a machine gun. It was such a cool introduction to the raid's mechanics, even though I mostly just did ad clear and dps.

Atraks was a wild one. We actually first tried him! There were a lot of confusing callouts at first but man, going up to space is just so awesome. I loved just seeing everybody go lament on his ass, and apart from a random dying from "the atraks ligma debuff" it went really smoothy surprisingly.

I was unfortunately spoiled a bit on what was next, but it was otherworldly to actually experience it. The sheer scope of finally being in actual space. The muffling of the weapons and teammates dying. Don't even get me started on the music. It felt like an encounter with just how memorable it was, and the chest got me a nice trustee with the exact roll i wanted.

Third encounter was unfortunately the only weird one for me. It was awesome, yeah... But my teammates didn't explain it to me. They just said i had to do ad clear, so I did. Not much else to say, except that the music yet again and the visuals were insane.

Finally, Taniks took us maybe 4 attempts? We had some hiccups with the balls, but for dps we actually melted him. I've seen some taniks melts before on YouTube, but it felt like due to sleeper and particle deconstruction he ceased to exist. The music was also, yet again, the simply the greatest. God I love this raid.

We ended up doing two more checkpoints, and while one of us got eyes, I unfortunately left with only a trustee and armour. That said, I can't wait to do this raid more in the future.

I actually ended up quitting raiding last year after I got really bad social anxiety, but reassuring runs like these give me so much damn confidence. I still have a soft spot for Wrath of the Machine as my favourite raid, but this was definitely the most memorable and fun for me. I also loved how even as an LFG team we could knock it out so easily.

I realise there isn't much point to posting this, but I'm curious to see if anyone else here really liked the raid :)

Where do i find these bots, I've been playing tdm and i only managed to find one carnage in like 7 matches

Was able to get in and see GoS and VoG with help from this awesome community and looking to see the other two raids now. May be able to bring a friend or 2 that would also like to learn the encounters but not sure yet.

Hello everyone, I appreciate everyone that showed support for my VoG post so I decided to make duo Flawless DSC and explain every encounter for each character as best as I can.

Security :

Warlock - use Bastion + sword with backup mag. Go to the oob as shown in the video at 3:30 and follow the path I follow till you get the the rally flag. You should run Geomags for the longer super and when you cast super you should swap to a build with Vesper of radius + double dynamo so you can get back super. While you under there you can swipe with a sword to get around dark, but when it comes to light left and middle you need to pop chaos reach to pop those fuses.

Titan - Right click a sword or slide to extend the flag so warlock can grab it.Start dark side and kill scanner. The warlock should be able to grab it from anywhere. Make sure you have bubble with crest of A and pop bubble after your warlock pops a super. For the bubble spot please check the video.

Atraks A1 :

Warlock - Use stasis + dusk field + lament + lucent blade.Pick up scanner and do it normally.

Titan - use lament + Pick operator + focusing lense + thunder crash + Falling star chest. You need a ricochet round weapon to get the replication off by going in the terminal and shooting above your head (use video for reference).

Descent :

Warlock - pick up operator and kill ads. When you hear the alarm tell your titan to join allies. While their join allies is counting down tell them to count down for you and shoot when their count down is at 3. Please remember that the ball only de spawns if there’s one at the railing. So if 2 spawn far shoot one of the far ones and go to the other far. If 2 spawn railing shoot one and pick up the far spawn. After you pick up the far one make sure your titan is back in descent and change characters.

Titan- go to to the oob spot as shown. When your teammate tells you to join allies join and count down.

This applies to both : join back and all you neeed to do is suppress when operator is done operating. So do the first to suppress tell your teammate when your ready to do the 3rd one and when they operate you suppress. When someone is deactivated bank them in the terminal and just wait in the back of the map as shown.

Taniks - this one is going to be hard to explain so I’m just going to point out key things you need to know.

Warlock - Must run 100 Mobility. You always need to suppress. I recommend using witherhoard +

3-4 friends looking for someone to teach us Deep Stone Crypt. One of us has done it once a while back but can’t remember much. Any help will be appreciated.

Me and my buddy are looking to go through our first raid, we've done dungeons and master nightfalls before. Both of us are hunters, not looking for any raid in particular. On xbox. Heads up both of us are younger, 16.
