So I (17m) have a stepsister (17f) our parents got married last year so we didnβt have a brother/sister relationship but we have come to the point we where friends. It also should be mentioned her and my mom hate each other for multiple reasons on both sides
On to the story I play multiple extreme sports so itβs not uncommon for me to be home with an injury. last week I sprained my ankle so I was at home all day my step sisters kitten got out (saw him in our yard while looking out the window) obviously I couldnβt get to him in time and our neighbours have dogs So I called out the her the situation
I heard her run out of the bathroom and 5 minutes later my mom scream than run down the stairs if Iβm being honest I thought it was a spider so I hopped into the bathroom to get rid of it. But basically their was a used tampon on the floor and the toilet wasnβt flashed.
So I just threw it in the bin and flashed the toilet than went back into my room and watched Netflix about 10 maybe 15 minutes later my step sister came into my room screaming at me. First I thought it was about not running after the kitten but when she called me a βmisogynist Chadβ βincelβ among making fun of my appearance and the fact my girlfriend dumped me a few weeks ago.I asked her what the fuck she was talking about because I was lost
To make a long story short She basically said my mom told her I complained about it being unsanitary she said I was uncomfortable and stuff like this is the reason Iβm mostly with my dad . I told her it was crap I told her what I did and that for all the sports I play blood isnβt an issue for me,she didnβt believe me so I told her come down stairs to prove it. We did and my mom went into deer in headlights mode than came clean they both started arguing for a few minutes than i cleared my throat and said βyou both owe me an apologyβ
My stepsister told me to fuck off and my mom told me stop being dramatic so I said I will pretend they both donβt exist till I get an apology. They were ok with it for a few days till my step sister had to walk to school on her own because I wouldnβt drive her. Itβs gone to the point all the siblings and step siblings are taking sides even my step father has gotten involved saying I should just let it go for the sake of keeping the peace or stay with my dad full time since Iβm dividing the family. I would but I love my bothers and sister but I think Iβm at least owed an apology
