A list of puns related to "Divvy"
For my salaried checks, I'm considering splitting up my checks to just go straight into my saving/investing categories rather than having it all in ready to assign. Does anyone else do this? Pros and cons of doing this when viewing the data, or anything to consider in the budget area?

Any rationale for why is also appreciated :)
I have extrapolated information herein from Schwab, A Shipping Conf in NYC in Dec, Analyst A.J. Mintzmyer & from opinions in 2 other sites I'm part of.
ZIM seems 2B earning up to $1 pShare pWeek & it already has a cash horde of $25 pShare +/- (More???). Their cash should allow them to:
1- Pay $10-$12 pShare in Divvies this Qtr
2- Buy back huge chunks of stock
3- Continue, or increase debt reduction
4- Acquire other Co's
5- All of the Above & More
So why hasn't the stock turned into a rocket???? Any thoughts appreciated.
I hold some ZIM & GOGL. Both of whom I expect a large Divvy this Qtr. But the stock price wishy washy performance has (is) confusing & frustrating.
There's still more things 2Ship than there are ships 2Transport at present. ZIM is negotiating wIsraeli gov to change the tax rate & seemed 2B pretty enthused on prospect. This change would be a biggie IMO.
There will likely not be buy backs of stock but the Divvy from Net Profits is bouncing around 30 - 50% of net profits. 50% would be a doozy
ZIM has some new technology or software which they expect to add $$ to expand. I missed parts of commentary. Apparently, ZIM has a negotiations going on, on contract from Asia to LA, starting this Yr that will bring higher rates for ZIM vessels.
Virus issues are a plus for ZIM & other shippers. There was some comments about a shuttle service from China 2 LA & they want to increase the service, doubling the #Of vessels per Wk.
There was more to the Conf, A.J. Mintzmayer a well known shipping analyst, discussed. I missed pieces, couldn't jot comments fast enough. Perhaps, another can review Conf & expand. Key point was, 2Me, ZIM is doing well, will continue 2Do so, so I bought a bit more.
Not a good Dy4 me. I'm going to bed.
I most likely will be able to get a fha loan from a lender, but just in case I wanna check out all options.
I'm sure divvy has very high interest rates, so do you guys think it's worth it? Any experiences with them?
I work retail, 40hr at 14 bucks. 18k in cash, 20k total in savings. I'd want to just put down 5% down-payment on a 120k-140k home. I'm able to fix structural and minor things myself.
I plan on going into a mechanic or plumber job that pays 20 bucks/hr, soon after settling, though I could be in it rn if I was able to.
I just can't tell my current lender that and pretend I have a future in retail lol.
There's a few models for handling loot. How does your party do it?
There's the vaguely communist "All our money is in a communal pile that is spent on whatever our party's expenses are, since what benefits one of us benefits all of us", and at the other extreme there's the "Everyone takes an equal share, and we all chip in when an expense that is definitively for the whole party comes up" approach. My table uses a middle-ground where if there are X party members the loot is divided into X+1 shares, with the extra share specifically covering expenses for the party like our revival-diamond fund.
Go and use the normal checkouts if you're too braindead to pay attention. And take the idiots who self checkout entire trolleys of food with you. And wear a mask for fucks sake.
It's been a long day.
Divvy installed a bike station at Olive-Harvey College - does anyone know how is the bike infrastructure over there? Nearby bike lanes?
For anyone not familiar, "Bike Angels" is a Divvy promotion that allows you to pick up a bike at a packed station, drop it off at an empty station, and get rewards. That's right, you are essentially stealing a Divvy employee's job for free. But it's honestly pretty fun and a good excuse to get around the city.
But the lifetime point rewards are horrible. 5,000 points and I get a backpack? What, am I selling girl scout cookies? You get like 0-1 points per bikeride, 3-4 points per ride if you've dedicated your evening to riding around the city dropping off bikes.
I've made a new list of lifetime perks. The goal was to make rewards that sound super exciting, but are actually not that expensive for Divvy to implement.
> 250 points: The length of Divvy rides is extended from 45 minutes to 60 minutes.
This one already exists. Keep it, it's good.
> 500 points: 50% off parking your bike outside of a docking station.
Getting 500 points means you already have a habit of parking your bike in an empty station. People won't use this.
> 1,000 points: Free bike parking outside of your docking station.
Same logic as above, these people are addicted to points by now. Nobody will use this.
> 2,000 points: You can now take out 2 bikes at once.
People who get 2,000 points on this app are almost certainly bike evangelicals, and are DESPERATE to get their few remaining friends to ride with them. This shit is free advertising. Netflix lets 2 people watch at the same time because they know people eventually want their own account, and this is the same.
> 5,000 points: 33% off ebikes.
Ebikes are already free in 80% of the city anyway. Plus, anyone with 5,000 points who uses electric bikes regularly is probably bankrupted by now, so throw them a bone.
> 10,000 points: You get your name on a plaque attached to one of the Divvy bikes.
I don't think I need to explain this one. It's cheap, easy, and the people who have spent 1,000 hours doing Divvy's job for free would love the Divvy memorial.
I just put these on my watchlist for 2022 consideration:
EDIT: forgot to include CWH
SJI
NWN
WBK (Aussie bank)
LUMN
ENLC
Does anyone here have any thoughts or preferences about adding any of these?
Or just stick with scaling my current CDN div stocks? (ENB, AQN, T, RY, BNS, CP, ATD)
Time frame is in 6-8 years being able to live off of dividends only while travelling for 3-5 years before fully retiring so I'm always looking for yield, consistency, and growth when possible.
I got a chance to try the new white electric Divvys yesterday and was surprised that the screen tells you essentially nothing other than the battery percentage, very small in the upper-right corner, and "IN RIDE"; seems like a waste of the screen to limit it to just that.
Also, the bike does not have any "gear" selector knob, it seems to ramp up the assistance based on some criteria I was unable to determine; a couple of times it seemed to guess wrong and, starting from a complete standstill, was effectively in what I'd describe as the highest gear in a regular bike, which was pretty rough to get going in traffic. Does anyone have any tips-n-tricks on how to work this? It was luckily late at night where there was very little traffic, but on a busy street I think it'd be quite disconcerting.
All-in-all the bike certainly looks very futuristic, but I think my general experience was pretty 'meh'; one thing also to note is that the bike is heavy, far more than the black electric Divvy bikes. Also why the screen doesn't show anything other than "In Ride" or "Available", when docked, seems weird to me; why bother having this integrated if that's basically all it's going to show.
So Iβve read Mistborn era 1 and first book of era 1 Iβve read Warbreaker Iβve read stormlight 1-4 no novellas
But I havenβt read Elantris. Is it worth it? Does it tie into cosmere much? Also I heard Hoid is in this book quite a bit like itβs his home planet or something
Iβve only purchased MTL sage n sour and Edison Mac in 14grams but curious to hear from others. Thank you!
for me personally, the maknae line β Winter & Ningning.
the main slayers of aespa, they would be such an unstoppable force if they were a duo. theyβve got the vocals, the visuals, the dance ability is super solid tooβ¦ did i forget to mention the Yoo Youngjin curated vocals?
could decide what genre i would i like from them? maybe a SESβs Soul to Soul or BoAβs Kiss My Lips type track from them?
so i am wondering, if they are to give the divvy out in cash, are they taxed the same way the normal dividends are taxed..?
