A list of puns related to "Dimera"
As far as Stefano's sons, you have:
Who is worthy enough to lead this empire into the future?
We have a whole lot of Dimeraβs running around town and Kiriakis as well it is time for them to pull the trigger for a big family feud.
Team Dimera - Tony, Ej, Chad, Jake, Johnny (when he comes)
Team Kiriakis - Brady, Phillip, Shawn, Xander, Ciara (When she comes back)
This would be some great drama. With Jake and Xander being the black sheep and working against the family business in the feud.
What you think?
it will be SO interesting to watch this story unfold, i hope its not short lived, i would love to see EJ stick around a good while & bring back that DiMera drama! the phoenix has risen and cannot fall again lol I still have to watch Monday's episode, I really need to recap an old EJ /Sami episode to compare his behavior it was SO long!!! I forgot how his composure was haha, but also i am sure he has changed A LOT due to the traumatic & very serious injuries etc that he's been through over the years
Dan Feuerriegel on if E.J DiMera is more villain or good guy
Been keeping up pretty good, & only today did I notice that the DiMera Mansion has been renovated lol like completely, paint, deco, furnishings etc. when did this happen? lol I think it was when Kristen popped open the secret passage to the wine cellar after "Susan" ran into Jake when I finally noticed it. Thought to myself.. "Wait a minute, where are they?" then Kristen opens the secret wine cellar door..
I've been so focused on the actors I hadn't paid much attention to the surroundings lol
Speaking of, Its been fun watching Kristen dig herself into a hole deeper & deeper, becoming aware of the situation she's getting herself into, the looks on her face lately have been like "guuurrrl mistakes are being made! what am i doing!?" π she is getting MAD sloppy.
The obsession she has over brady. The lengths she will go to. Gawd, I realise it's a soap opera but it hits home a bit!
I know long time fans will disagree but watching Kristen the past few years has been like watching a bratty high school girl complain and stomp her feet. She is so insecure and childish she just needs to go. She makes Days worse and not better.
Can someone explain what these businesses do/are/who works there? Does DiMera own Basic Black and Gabi Chic? Is DiMera a publicly traded company?
Does anybody else miss Tyler Christopher's version of Stefan Dimera?
With it being confirmed that EJ has been recast with Australian actor Dan Feuerriegel...I wonder how long before Johnny and Sydney are both SORASed and return to town?
Johnny is the same age as Allie seeing as how they are twins
Johnny should be in his 20s just like Claire, Ciara, Allie, Theo, Chanel, Tripp, etc
Sydney as far as she goes, Sydney should be not that much younger than them
Where was that party suppose to be at? It looked like the set of the DiMera Mansion but since people were driving to get there, it must have been somewhere else.
At this point, why doesnβt Shin name himself CEO? Seems like it would be a lot less hassle for him than naming a new CEO every 2 weeks.
Is there a list of CEOs of DiMera somewhere? Iβm sure itβs massive lol
How many people live in the DiMera mansion at this point?
Chad, Abby, their two kids, Gwen, Jack, Jennifer, Kate, Jake, Lucas
Am I missing anyone else?
A perfect recast choice for EJ DiMera...would be Daniel Goddard
He played Cane Ashby on Young and the Restless...and size/build wise he would be perfect for EJ alongside Alison Sweeney as Sami
Plus with EJ back in the fold in Salem, EJ can take over DiMera Enterprises and steal the company right out from under his brothers Chad and Jake
With EJ back, he can also reconnect with his brother Chad but also meet his other brother Jake.
Plus if you re cast EJ, you can bring back a SORASed Johnny DiMera and a SORASed Sydney DiMera as well
Johnny would basically be the same age as Allie being twins
And with Sydney you can build a new teen scene around her, with her in the center of it
But with EJ, if anyone could replace James Scott as EJ it would be Daniel Goddard. Not only is he available but he can pull off a British accent too because EJ is British. Yeah Goddard technically is Australian but still close enough for it to be believable.
So, apparently after one business meeting, Jake, who has worked as a mechanic for years, suddenly has an interest in possibly running DiMera Enterprises or at least getting into the corporate business world. Besides Tony, has there been any on-screen members of the DiMera family - as opposed to those currently still around but never seen - who were never interested in the family business, especially having control?
Also, when and how did the dynamics of DiMera Enterprises change? For decades, it it was simply Stefano in charge, doing all sorts of villainy, often using the assets of DE and its various companies. Then, it seemed to suddenly change with a board of trustees, headed by Mr Chin overseeing everything. How does DiMera still manage as a family-owned business but controlled by others who have ultimate power? And if they do, then why does it matter which member of the DiMera holds the CEO position since they can be overruled? Seems like long ago, the show tried to make DiMera Enterprises seem very corporate without knowing how they actually work.
Okay, so I started watching Days over 20 years ago, but haven't watched regularly for a decade. I did start watching again last week, and I gotta say, "WTF?!"
Why is Brady with Kristen? It has creepy step-mom porn vibes to me, like he was a small child when Kristen tried to baby trap his dad with EJ.
I know they like to take liberties with the ages of characters, EJ is a great example of this, but seriously this storyline is one of the worst.
And don't get me started on how all the young women have trouble carrying babies full term meanwhile Kristen the dinosaur is apparently fertile Myrtle? But she couldn't carry John's baby to term two decades ago? Okay then.
Anyway, can someone help me understand how Brady is in love with this psycho? I thought his marriage to Theresa was bad enough, but dang.
Besides maybe the Kiriakis mansion it was probably the last impressive set on the show. I had hoped the common room was only temporary and they barely ever use Julieβs restaurant (apparently the set that took its place) but itβs been a year. What do you guys think?
I think the show is lacking people to truly root against. Yes, theyβre some annoying characters but they really only have beef with a couple of other characters for example: Gabi/Chad and Abby (mainly) Xander/Brady Brady/Eric Victor/Kristen
I want the whole town to have someone to actively dislike and mistrust like Stefano (who can never be replaced I know), EJ, even Andre. Thereβs only Chad left and heβs a βgood guy.β
Iβm actually hoping heβs the one thatβs been drugging Abigail. Heβs so consumed with vengeance for Gabi he tried to set her up, but I know that wonβt happen.
I wish theyβd bring back Johnny grown up to cause some trouble and and be an actual villain. Take DiMera out from under Gabi, Stefan, and Chad. Maybe plot to have the whole town destroyed because he feels like the citizens of Salem have always ostracized his family.
I donβt know. I just miss having outlandish bad guy/girls doing bad things besides stealing babies. A plot to blow up the town, brainwash everyone at the next gala, give me something please!
Does anyone remember when Stefano appeared in 1982, he mentioned a daughter named Vanessa, one he hadnt heard from in years? This small little fact has obviously been long forgotten, literally never to be mentioned again, I just thought it was cool to bring up the fact that Stefano has another daughter out there that is unknown, and if the writers are ever reading this there is a potential idea for this to be revisited, or visited, seen as it was never mentioned again. Jason47 if you're there can you clarify this through scripts maybe?
Does anyone know if there's video clips anywhere from January 18, 1982 episode with Stefano Dimera 1st ever appearance? Searched everywhere but no luck. I know trying to find anything from 1982 near impossible but someone gotta have it out there.
Can someone just explain to me just exactly how Steve (patch) comes back into the show as a dead character (Stefino). Stefino is dead in the show and passed away years ago in real life. And i also still see the original Stefino;s picture hanging up on the wall in his house im totally confused? (Australian time slot)
Has it ever even been established where Peter is? I may have missed a throwaway line, but I canβt even remember Kristen mentioning him.
I know the original actor probably wonβt return due to the rumours with Missy (Jennifer), but sometimes it seems like the character has been zapped out of existence.
He wasn't a regular cast member, he wasn't a character who just hung out in Salem year 'round. Stefano would show up for a specific storyline, building up with glimpses of his shadowed form until the ultimate reveal, usually in the final moments of Friday's episode. When Stefano appeared it was serious. Shit was about to get REAL. Perhaps a major character would die. Perhaps The Phoenix himself would die...but we knew he'd be back. Another World had a similar set up with villain Carl Hutchins (until Mac died and Rachel eased Carl into good guy territory).
I don't really watch Days regularly now (I'll come back at the first disturbance of Bo Brady's grave) but I don't think they'll ever have that epic villain again. Andre/Tony whoever he is always being there detracts from it all. When Stefano appeared it was an EVENT. I doubt we'll ever recapture that vibe.
Iβve been watching Days on and off my whole life. The first major storyline I was really invested in was the Salem Slasher from the early 80s. Andre killed a bunch of people for Stefano and sometimes he wore a realistic face mask of Roman. Him, Marlena, Abe, Hope, Tony, and Anna were all part of this story. They knew how Andre impersonated Roman before. All of them were in the room during the Kristin reveal and no one brought this up? This bugged me a little. I donβt watch every day so maybe they talked about them recently in an episode I skipped.
Anyway, I thought yesterdayβs episode was fantastic. I love big epic episodes with everyone in one room as a big secret gets revealed.
The first time I watched Days, it was the early 90s and I watched it with my great aunt. When I grew up, I was more into GH and OLTL but recently Iβve followed my favorite (Brandon Barash) over to Days and this character.
I went back to watch previous episodes so Iβd know at least a little about Stefan and was surprised to see Tyler Christopher there! His Stefan seemed mostly cruel with a little sprinkling of desperation (for love). I didnβt know how Brandon would pull that up but was delightfully surprised that Brandon went his own way.
His Stefan is kind of earnest, though still delightfully ruthless. I think thereβs a real heart to his Stefan. Especially in scenes with Gabi. What I want to ask is, does anyone else think thatβs intentional? A softer, charming, and a bit more charismatic Stefan in order to redeem him?
please go check out my theory let me know what you think. https://youtu.be/N02eAf45j9E
Is someone drugging Chad with mercury? Does he have a brain tumor that radically is affecting his judgement? These are the only two options that I can think that can honestly explain how fucking stupid Chad is.
In Days time, yesterday Chad visited Abigail in Bayview, had her scream at him about what he has done for her. She calls Stefan, Stefan has her released the following day. Now, he believes Gabby mysteriously βtook full controlβ in the space of, what, 24 hours?
This, on top of all the other stupid things he has said and done lately, is making me scream daily at the television screen.
