A list of puns related to "Depilatory"
Any good creams out there for shaving head? Iβm tired of trimming and canβt use razor because of sensitive skin.
There are few like this one https://www.amazon.com/Razorless-Shaving-SoftSheen-Carson-Maintenance-Depilatory/dp/B000TG63XS
But not sure.
Thanks
I see alot of ppl here talk about shaving with a razor and such but havent seen anything about depilatory cream, is it worse than shaving? Cuz for me shaving is rlly difficult and i never seem to shave well so i just resort to this... Maybe its gonna damage my skin? (the cream), idk, i wanna hear someone else's thoughts on this
I don't know why but it wouldn't come off easily this time, and now Ally is puking and bleeding out while I have the wax in my hand covered in hair, skin and some flesh.
I'm prefacing this by saying I've had some decent successes with Softsheen-Carson's Gold Shaving Powder in the past. I was debating picking it up again, but I thought their depilatory gel would be more convenient... though some of the reviews are a bit foreboding. Nonetheless, I found some videos on YouTube that recommended the use of their Extra Strength Razorless Shaving Cream, even around their nethers.
So I figured I'd ask: is there any one depilatory powder or cream that's generally the safest/most effective for full-body use? I'm looking to epilate some pretty sensitive areas (in addition to just my arms and legs and whatnot), so I need something pretty gentle.
I found this list of depilatory creams on Cosmopolitan that might helpful. Any advice in this regard would be greatly appreciated. ...Though I should really just be shaving down there anyway, or be getting it waxed or something.
Shaving is completely out of the question, so I wanted to know if thereβs any good hair removal for my nether region. (Btw i just bought a bottle of nair bikini cream idk how good it is tho)
Ive used Nair, extra strength lol, looks and feels great until I get all those zit/bumps/irritation.
They say magic shave powder is good, do you have experience with that?
What about Nair for sensitive skin?
Anyways thanks a heap, I'm very tired of shaving lol.
I have read on the Internet it last longer then shaving; I donβt know if itβs better then shaving I would like to here from all of you about the best ways to remove hair thank you for your time. :)
Iβve been using Veet for the longest time, and looking to find something similar but cruelty free. Iβve never used razor and shaving cream (quite frankly it freaks me out to use a blade on my skin on purpose), so Iβd like to keep it that way.
Also not necessary for you to know offhand, but Iβm allergic to aloe vera so if you also know a product without it, please let me know!
Hi all - I have focal vitiligo on a few parts of my body, and Iβm searching for some non-irritating hair removal methods. I have shaved all my life, but I want to try something with longer lasting results. Has anyone with vitiligo waxed, sugared, or used a depilatory creams? If so, do yβall have any product recommendations? Iβd be using it only on skin that hasnβt been affected by my vitiligo.
Hello! I am genderfluid and use all pronouns (they/them works well mostly) and I'm interested in removing rather thick facial hair and am frustrated with traditional shaving. Has anyone had any experience with either Depilatory creams or epilators for removing facial hair? which is better? Is either safe to use?
I know that epilators can be painful, but they won't damage the skin on my face, right? and creams are just so confusing to me. are they likely to cause irritation? I can't find any really good answers looking online, so I was hoping someone might have experience on using these for facial hair removal.
Thanks!
Iβm currently using brightening pads for darks spots on my skin. The pads are 4% hydroquinone and have kojic acid listed as an ingredient. Is it okay to use a depilatory such as βMagicβ with these ingredients? I tried googling but only found information about laser hair removal.
TIA
Hi, Iβm pretty new to this sub and spent the past couple of days scrolling through a lot of posts. I have mild to severe KP, and have only started to treat it recently after having it my whole life.
Waxing my arms was my go to every since I started any form of hair removal. I have never shaved my arms once since I like that it takes almost a month for the hair to grow back. But after reading through this sub, I realized I should avoid waxing and probably switch to a safer hair removal method. Iβm considering trying depilatory cream, so far I have seen: -Nair -Nads -Veet Which one would you guys say that works best?
Hi, I'm a 21yo MtF, and I am likely to start transitioning very soon. I've never shaved my body (except some parts just to see how they would look like) due to a transphobic environment. But soon I will move back to my place and will just tell them I am trans and that I will embrace my feminity, no matter their opinion. Since it's one of the biggest causes of dysphoria for me, I'd like to get rid of my facial and body hair. Which ways do you advise me ? One thing is sure, I won't shave since I will just end up cutting myself an infinite amount of times.
Hey, so surgeon ask for the srs zone to be shaved with depilatory cream. I never used cream before so I tried it on my legs and it did not shave smooth? Like i had to finish the job with a razor. So, im a bit conserned, is it normal to not be smooth? Is that fine for the surgery? And also, how im i supposed to apply it without touching the sensible parts???π
Hey! I just spot tested Nair and it seems to work pretty well with me (at least in the area I tested) and I guess Iβd love if someone could give me some more tips about the whole subject, because Iβm probably gonna try to mainly use it from now on.
Some extra info:
To give a bit of info, I switched from shaving to this, because while I now really despise my body hair shaving is just soo tedious. I literally had days where I spent 3+ hrs just shaving because otherwise I couldnβt get the result to be smooth and going fast is also not an option because of razor bumps (omg my skin, i hate it sometimes currently). And two days later my hair already grows back to a point where it all just doesnβt feel smooth anymore. My hair btw is generally on the more coarser/thicker side and like I said I had and still have (if I donβt pay extra attention) issues with razor bumps, but luckily Iβve really got them under control by using an exfoliator with salicylic acid.
I guess (and have thought about) that I could also try to get into waxing, but I have to mention that Iβm still doing this all in secrecy and have not told my parents a thing about this all, and waxing doesnβt only give me the impression that it requires a lot more skill than other hair removal methods, but it also just seems to be more difficult to perform secretly. Anyway, these are the reasons I switched to nair, if you got suggestions regarding my decisions & methodology Iβm also very open to hear about that :D
Actual questions about nair:
Now Iβve heard & read a bunch of things about nair and similar creams and I guess Iβd just like to know what to expect when Iβll use it more, even though I know effects differ for each person.
So firstly I heard that nair can be really inconsistent. And that makes sense, but obviously Iβd hope you who are reading this made the breakthrough discovery on how to get it to be more consistent. If so pls let me know :)
Then I also read that nair thins out your hair, and that after using it the hair takes longer to regrow than with shaving. Is that true? I wouldnβt expect it to last longer because it just doesnβt seem to βcutβ the hair as far.
I know this turned out a bit long, but I wanted to give some extra info too, because like I said Iβd really appreciate also just general tips on how to get to a point where I have a method to effectively get rid of my most of my body hair. :D
Just looking for everyoneβs opinions. I get bad razor bumps so Iβm considering a careful application of cream, but waxing is on the table too.
Update: Did the cream. So far so good, no irritation but my coarse ass body hair stood up better than I expected.
Lots of thin leftovers but it looks pretty smooth otherwise. Iβll do the treatment again in 48 hours if there are no complications.

I was diagnosed with pcos 7 years back. Genetically already on the hairy side, it made matters worse. However I managed it with weight loss and some medications. I have hair all over my face but it was manageable with bleaching (and waxing for upper lips). Never skipped periods though. Just started getting cramps as I grew older, they are worse whenever I am lax with my health or take too much stress (like exam time)
Now I have again started seeing hair growth on my face, particularly darker, coarser hair on chin. It's been one stressful year. Plus my diet and workout regime has been disturbed since I shifted back home. There's also stress of the job examination I'm preparing for. (Also I got infected with covid-19 and had to take lot of medicines. I'm wondering if they had some side effect on my hormonal balance. Any which way, hair growth has worsened on my face and neck.)
So I have started medications again, spearmint tea too. Also did some research and found some articles about depilatory effects of raw papaya mask (Papain) or fennel seeds gel. I have papaya tree at home so I'm willing to try this if it'll reduce my facial hair. But it may take months to be effective. Has anyone tried it here and seen good results?
tldr: Has anyone tried natural depilatory products for facial hair, like raw papaya mask or fennel seed gel, and seen good results?
So I was thinking on trying this because Iβve heard itβs like the fastest and the most effective... but Iβve recently been told about the scorches and Iβm a bit afraid... Have you ever got burnt with it? Is it a simple scorch or could it be dangerous (I was going to use it on the body)?
