Its got forced labor and concentration camp victims; killings by unofficial private groups; extrajudicial summary killings; and mass deaths due to governmental acts of criminal omission and neglect such as in deliberate famines as well as killings by de facto governments. "August 4 and 15". So it it could involve any number of ways that a government may be killing it's own people, either through neglect, ineptitude, or even intentionally.
Well to me, that describes when Lebnaon is going through. It's like a genocide except that its a government against all parts its own people, the people it is supposed to serve and protect. The amount of psychological damage of such an experience would have on any society is unimaginable.
Ever since Oct. 17 the government has been acting like a Mafia, inacting revenge upon the people it used to benefit from. Like when they come up to a store and say they must pay the mafia "for protection", from the mafia itself. Now we're the store, and we have rebelled, and they breaking down the store bit by bit.
Without making this post too long, I want to end it by saying: Speaking as a recent expat it continuously breaks me with every passing day, the nightmare that is life back home. I can't even imagine what it is life for those of you who are still there and haven't found a way to get out yet. My loved ones who are trying to get out, but are stuck. They did put on a brave face throughout most of it, but lately they have turned increasingly desperate.

Anyway, they barge in, on the Day of Judgment no less, barking about some egghead in the science labs, so Mia, being Mia gets all up in their faces and David, being David, gets all high and mighty and tries to appeal to Morgan’s, that’s her name, humanity, they had some history, I don’t know the details, when that failed, Mia tipped the scientist off and they escaped on a shuttle, unfortunately, Rasputin being the all-seeing, god-pretender that he is, saw this and promptly smote the shuttle with a Warsat. When she’s confronted about this, Morgan tried to be all holier-than-thou about it, safe to say all that did was annoy us. We then went about trying to make sure as many as possible survived and then got ourselves loaded into evac SMILE pods, though sadly Maury didn’t make it back in time and was taken by the god-wave and David’s pod malfunctioned and he froze to death”
