A list of puns related to "Defensive Midfielder"
PREFACE -
I dearly thank everyone for the response on my last post!
I also hope to clarify something. My idea of this series was to provide solutions to positions a club is struggling with. Example was City not having a striker. Of Course , If you all would like to see other things like putting a player into a team with whom he was heavily linked too and other cases then I shall surely do it! We can do players who were strongly linked to join a club - Suarez to Arsenal and also any player which existed during that time well at least according to Wenger! A legendary player added to a team like Kaka in the current Liverpool team as a false 9 might be fun and so on and so forth
Manchester United and Ralf Rangnick seem to be in a precarious situation. Well at least according to social media. Also according to social media is concerning Ralf Rangnick and how nothing seems to have changed. This also proves to the intellects of social media that having a good squad doesn't guarantee success. Man United are a team who are actually built on stature and not the profile which fits the club. They have a backup GK who can start for PL clubs , a 50 million RB frozen out , Midfielders who are in between the profile of box to box and defensive midfielders , wingers who arenβt actually wingers I can probably go on but their biggest issue has been a defensive midfielder.
Welcome to the WHAT IF SERIES. Where I take a look at adding rumored / linked players into that particular teams setup and looking at various things such as how it'd work in game , what we can expect and how it'd work if it happens IRL
This is a silly series where I look to integrate Tactical analysis , real life transfers , real life football and fantasy teams which add to the fun
Without further ado , let's begin! -
Firstly , let's look at the profile of players -
The players need to be good at playing the ball out and defending. Mostly they should be able to break up the play. They should also be good at progressive passing. Unitedβs midfielders are more of volume passers than progressive passers which means that they mostly play balls sideways and backwards and not passes which are over 10 yards long
There are many players who qualify by this skill set. Some of them include Tchouameni , Zakaria , Kamara , Bissouma , Haidara and many more. I could have choose any of them but choose not to do so because I have only their base cards which are mostly lower rated so it wouldn't be really
... keep reading on reddit β‘I see a lot of players struggling, asking for suggestions, and sharing photos of their team. Shockingly, a lot of these players have all attack-based central midfielders.
A good defensive midfielder, even if theyβre not playing at CDM, can make a massive difference for your team. You need a player who can provide an extra line of defence in the midfield, and act as that 4th, 5th or 6th defender, depending on formation.
Remember, scoring isnβt everything!
If your club was in the market for a premium long-term mature (24-26) defensive/holding midfield player that can also distribute well, with a relatively unlimited budget, who would make your shortlist and why?
Who is the best Defensive midfielder in DLS?
I have very clean tackles and win 9/10 of my 1v1s I am very good at blind side defending and I am very fast, good at intercepting and very aggressive. My weakpoints are I am short (5'7), weak body type, I suck at shooting and I am average at passing and i suck at shooting. How should I play and which players should I analyse?
I was wondering about some thumb rules for the following occurrences. If Iβm playing as a midfielder, or any other position in general, holding the line is essential. So when do I want to leave the line and pressure someone who has the ball in front of me/the line? Secondly, when do I want to leave the line to cover an opponent whoβs free in front of the line and will most likely receive the ball? Thanks!
