A list of puns related to "Cyber Crime"
With the recent drama over the βhateβ alleged by the βofficial sub of Indiaβ, I want to educate my fellow Indiaverse redditors about a very easy method to complaining about anti-national activities to the Ministry of home Affairs. I am very surprised to see the widespread ignorance on the issue itself, especially since the news of this cyber crime portal was shared on every subreddit and still people seem to be ignorant as to how to file a complaint.
So I decided to make a primer for the people concerned with the rabid anti-national and separatist activities on the βofficialβ and its allied subs and finally want to take some action against it.
Any social media including Reddit comes under it. Especially subreddits that claim to be βthe Official Subreddit for Indiaβ and have picture up Indian flag and claim to stand for βUnityβ come under it.
Separatist activity, anti-national activity, calls for βpeaceful protestsβ that end up causing thousands of crores of losses for the government also comes under it.
Look out for people who always call for an βazaad Kashmirβ, βKhalistanβ and βbalkanization of Indiaβ. Any subreddit that encourages these activities is prime real estate for such a complaint.
If they can call for protests that clog arterial highways for years and defend protests that lead to desecration of Amar Jawan monument and defend riots which causes deaths and damage to public property, the least you can do is lodge a simple complaint to the cyber crime division.
The portal was specially set up for vigilant citizens who have witnessed a rise in subversive activities against India on social media. Any sane individual on Reddit can see the amount of hate against the hindus by calling us βgaumutra drinkersβ, encouragement of Love Jehad, and portrayal of Hindu devis in vulgar forms. All this supposedly comes under FOS and are rarely taken down.
If they can go to their gora sahibs at TIME AND WaPo and cry about hAtE sUBbReddiTs, then the least you can do is file a complaint with the Indian Home Ministry that works for you. Do your bloody duty.
It is very easy to call someone "cuckendra" while doing nothing yourself.
Lol no. For filing a complaint you have to be on a computer that is in India, provide personal details like your phone number, your address,
... keep reading on reddit β‘I am being blackmaied into paying money for a content of me of sexual nature, the person who's blackmailing me is calling me from Morocco phone number and using fake girl account on Instagram and a US based number as well, what can I do? Who can I report to? Is there anyway to get some protection and find this guy and punish him?
Hiring from the SEC and the Secret Service doesn't sound like a bad strategy, if you're looking for insider procedural info/advise.
I imagine, if I were worried about being investigated, having an in-house expert on what's coming and how would be a handy thing to have.

Hi guys I hope you're doing well, couple of weeks ago I got scammed for a cryptocurrency named usdt. So the story is the guy lives in Dubai and I'm in Jeddah. We had a great deal before for 50k aed which was face to face where my friend in Dubai helped me to deal with him. But now what happened is after some days he asked me s favor he said "can you please send me some usdt I'll return you in sometime" I was too dumb as a humanity I gave him to help him I thought it's a small amount he'll give back as we already did a big deal before.
Now it's been a long time since he's not replying my texts. So I reported to binance about it and binance asked me to report to police station and then only they can proceed further. They asked me to let the official authorities contact Binance team then they'll investigate further. As we all know crypto isn't completely legal here so if I goto police station and tell them my story would that be worth it? Or I'll be in more trouble? Please guys need your suggestions. Total amount was around 8000aed
Thank you.
I am a student officer currently in my second year. I have done rotations across investigations, response and neighbourhood and have enjoyed my investigations rotations in particular. I would eventually like to work within cyber crime investigations and I have reflected this in my preferences for my final posting (I know nobody actually gets what they ask for).
So my question is, to get ahead for when it's finally time to apply for a position within cyber what would you recommend I improve my knowledge on or what basics should I know? I have qualifications within IT in general that I believe would help but these are from a while ago and I want to be proactive in pursuing this path.
I got a call from a random cell number today - those on the line claimed to be the Dubai Police.
Then they threatened to close my bank account unless i confirmed all my bank account information with them.
I caught on that it was a scam pretty quick, and said i would report them to the actual police.
Called 901 - got to the CID extension - and "mailbox is full" Call got cut.
So i called 901 again - tried the customer care extension - "mailbox is full"
How am i supposed to report this?
I feel like now and in the future cyber crimes will be more of a big deal seeing as it's harder to get away with street crimes. Would you also think these crimes would change how the mafia is ran? I'm sure the majority of the made men aren't experts at using technology so they'd have to get people who were good at it to pull it off.
