A list of puns related to "Crime Against Humanity"
The wiki page for "crimes against humanity.
Unlike war crimes, crimes against humanity can be committed during peace or war. They are not isolated or sporadic events but are part either of a government policy (although the perpetrators need not identify themselves with this policy) or of a wide practice of atrocities tolerated or condoned by a government or a de facto authority. War crimes, murder, massacres, dehumanization, genocide, ethnic cleansing, deportations, unethical human experimentation, extrajudicial punishments including summary executions, use of weapons of mass destruction, state terrorism or state sponsoring of terrorism, death squads, kidnappings and forced disappearances, use of child soldiers, unjust imprisonment, enslavement, torture, rape, political repression, racial discrimination, religious persecution and other human rights abuses may reach the threshold of crimes against humanity if they are part of a widespread or systematic practice.
Further down it has this listed by the UN.
The UN pointed out the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) specifically Article 7 (Crimes against Humanity), which defines large-scale acts of violence against a locality's civilian populace. These acts consist of murder; annihilation; enslavement; bondage; forced removal of the population; imprisonment or deprivation of physical liberty that violates international laws; maltreatment; forced prostitution and rape; discrimination and tyranny against certain groups; apartheid (racial discrimination and segregation); and, other inhumane acts.
Some of the powerful people on earth definitely qualify under these terms. They have become Hostis humani generis (Latin for "enemy of mankind"). I believe now is the time for legal action. The biggest class action lawsuit followed by a tribunal to get these slave traders and faux kings justice.
For pretty much the whole 20th century (and let’s be honest we still do this to an extent) the US propped up fascist military dictatorships all over South and Central America. These regimes murdered thousands to tens of thousands of innocent people each. Every one of these deaths is directly on the hands of the US government. I find it impossible to be proud to be an American when I know that so much death and suffering was intentionally inflicted on innocents by my country. It’s a deep shame and I don’t think it’s ever forgivable.
No I will not elaborate.
My grandma stans her and saying that she’s a horrible person because she served under Obama and was complacent to Bill’s crimes doesn’t seem like enough. What are some the most egregious things she has said and done?
I have tried really hard to find the best proof for these claims (Uyghur concentration camps, organ harvesting, forced sterilization, large scale torture, etc) but all I've found are a few "research" papers based on a handful of witness testimonies, satellite photos estimation, statistical assumptions/estimations and so called "government official documents" that cant be verified.
We used to have really good proof of various atrocities before 2000s and China could not even deny them, but the latest string of claims and sanctions are based on some pretty shaky "evidence" that I cant really bet on.
Believe me when I say I criticize China plenty for their human rights abuses, but the recent development feels more like geopolitical exaggeration than proven without a doubt.
Btw, I was permabanned from get this........r/worldnews for simply asking if we actually have good proof. lol. I guess that sub is as woke as they say.
Shame on you Madison
The sky and stars have been a source of inspiration for basically every culture. People living in cities have no idea what they're missing because they barely ever see it. Like imagine if nobody ever saw trees except in pictures. I also heard that elephants have been observed doing rituals to the moon so it isn't crazy to think that animals are also curious. No wonder people put up christmas lights in their rooms.
