A list of puns related to "Creepshow"
Iβm the GM of Shudder, AMC Networksβ streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural. Weβre the streamer that turned Creepshow into a TV series, brought back horror hosts Joe Bob Briggs and Elvira, made great films like V/H/S/94, Host and The Mortuary Collection, and made new seasons of Slasher and Dragula.
This week weβre launching our new docu-series Behind the Monsters and the anthology film Horror Noire, featuring six new stories from black filmmakers. Our movies regularly make Top 10 lists everywhere and currently on Rotten Tomatoesβ list Best Horror Movies of 2021, 4 of the top 5 horror movies are Shudder titles (and 7 of the top 10!).
You can subscribe to Shudder directly (https://www.shudder.com/) or add us as a channel on providers like Amazon Prime and Apple TV.

Hi There,
I am auctioning off my Creepshow II crew jacket. I'm moving and don't want to put things into storage. I'd rather they go into the hands of those who'd appreciate it! https://www.ebay.com/itm/115151291728
Please share with those who might like to know about it! I'm new to Reddit. Thank you so much,xo Pat
So I just spent the last 2 hours or so watching Creepshows new video and Iβll be honest I am left more confused.
She pulled out stuff from back in the early 2000βs. So I am 31 and back in those days when I was a child also I did some sketchy stuff online like Emily. We all have. I donβt get what the point of any of that was. Emily was a kid doing kid stuff that we all did online as kids. Likeβ¦.k? People grow up and change as they get older.
I mean 6 months and to come out with all this now seems a little redundant. If anything should have been addressed to her audience maybe the lolcow leak or her βhackedβ YouTube channel.
Although I did like her phrase,β go touch some grass.β Iv never heard of that and I got a good laugh out of it.
The thing I find most fascinating about horror is the literary layers these stories actually contain.
For instance, Grey Matter was obviously a story about the normalization and commercialization of alcoholism. How the toxicity from the dad spreads to the son and other people; how alcohol consumes society in a way that is underhanded to the point that it is normalized; how one ignores/oversees the consequences of overconsumption until itβs too late. That much was clear to me.
IDK wtf House of the Head was trying to portray, though, in terms of metaphor. Maybe itβs a commentary on the fear of growing up? The pervasiveness of βthe male gazeβ sexualizing young girls thus prematurely destroying childhood innocence? The head is obviously male and rotten - signifying a sick mind maybe? Since the Ethan doll ends up having the head in the end, that could support my theory as it signifies Ethan the boy ultimately growing up into someone with toxic masculinity (for lack of a better word).
Idk. Itβs not as clear cut to me.
Anyone got an idea?? Whatβs your interpretation of the metaphors/themes on this story?
Creepshow art coming back I think Katie's Twitter will fill up with posts about Shannon

They're made for each other...just saying
A standard formula for an EC Comics and works inspired by them is: An innocent person gets murdered. The killer gets away with it. Sooner or later, the victim comes back as a zombie and kills the killer.
The thing is, a lot of people get murdered around the world, and their killers aren't always brought to justice. Why doesn't stuff like this happen all the time? Why do some murder victims get to come back for vengeance and others don't?

I'll be honest - I was a little harsh on this series at first....I think I was in a mood. But something about this show has really got me now.
Maybe it's the full moon but I frigging LOVE this show.
I just finished S2 E1 and got to see >!Bob Ross battle Zombies from the Necronomicon!! !< hahaha WOW!! I never thought I'd see that.
I'm loving the blend of comic books with live action and this feels so much like the old horror shows I grew up with, Tales from the Darkside, Tales from the Crypt, Monsters, etc.....I LOVE these shows and short stories and it's cool to see a modern one. I'm hooked....big time!
I still haven't seen the movies Creepshow 1 or 2 yet. I know I know....I should have long ago but I missed them for some reason.
Thanks Shudder for bringing back a show style I'd forgotten I missed!!
