I've watched countless videos on running downspouts underground...and each seems to use different materials, sometimes contradicting themselves in later videos(use pvc, use corrugated, use perforated, use solid, don't use an adaptor, don't use a pop-up emitter, use a pop-up emitter). I never knew there could be such a variety of philosophies getting water away from the house.
Anyway seen in this pic I need to extend this downspout and want to run it underground, under the concrete walkway. My plan are the materials below, and I'm wanting to see if someone could sanity check my idea. Solid corrugated black pipe to an adaptor on the downspout, terminates at a pop-up emitter right past the mulch you see in the yard (it doesn't have to be this, but want to keep pests/debris out). Luckily the grade is significant here so going downhill won't be a problem.
How does this sound?

Cardboard is stiff paper chip sheet used in cereal boxes. The board with the fluted layer in the middle is what is used for packing boxes and is called corrugated board or simply corrugate.
Need names of good paper corrugating/crimping machines for corrugated and binary builds. Yes I have googled them but not to many pop up. Anyone ever heard of the Yoosoo or Oakley paper crimper? Any knowledge is helpful.
