A list of puns related to "Conjury"
To start: I'm not sure how to address you. I certainly shouldn't be addressing you. There's many reasons this letter is just a figment instead of the real thing.
In reality you're a complete stranger, and I should accept that. Thinking reasonably, you might not have even heard I even exist. But I won't give myself the benefit of the doubt to say I'm thinking reasonably. Heck, lately I've been hoping for some proof I exist. You definitely exist. Somewhere. But everything I think I know about you is from an illusion you've cast, or built up by my own speculation based on those pretty phantasms. In other cases, it's information based on nothing but my own mood disorder... The real Rafael is probably better than any eidolon my unwell mind can conjure. Regardless, I guess this letter is for the both of you.
I always liked to view myself as logical. Lately I can't seem to trust my feelings much. Maybe that's some spell you did too?
Are you doing anything special for tonight's cold moon? You might be a few hours ahead of me, but surely we can appreciate a similar night sky. On the upcoming solstice it's supposed to be incredibly luminous - but as I'm sure you've heard dreary weather conceals most of the celestial events around here. Alas the view is currently blocked out by gray skies here. It's a shame there won't be a conjunction of winter solstice and cold moon until 2094. Now THAT would be an excellent night for embracing the supernatural. Regardless, it's still the solstice coming up which always promises to be a good night for letting imagination run a bit wild.
May's super blood moon managed to be an ominous event even with the overcast skies hiding the moon itself. That was a bizarrely ominous night. The damp air carried a faint vermillion hue, and the witching hour brought with it the kind of impenetrable silence that allows one to hear all the minor noises for miles. A train had passed before my walk in the night, and the tracks gently rattled somewhere far off. This year's strawberry supermoon sadly didn't make an appearance either... not because of rain for once, but the wildfires that were smoking out the valley.
I don't really know you. I had only a basic impression of you, based only on scraps of information. Information that I repressed as soon as it was given it. Truly, I was terrified to learn anything of you, believing you'd just be a reflection of all qualities I was lacking. Scared that I'd see a person who entirely eclipsed my existenc

I for the life of me cannot figure this out. All I can gather is they use the elements of wind and earth (and I guess water if you're desperate), but what's the significance of the upgrade from conjurer to white mage? What can you do as white mage that you wouldn't be able to as conjurer? Do they ever actually explain it?
In my Shadowrun game, one player in particular has made a mage that has no functional ability outside of spamming summoned spirits, as that's all the player has bothered to learn despite having a handful of spells. With his quality selection also geared towards summoning, basically all he does is summon a squad of spirits, binds them, and then unleashes them in combat and thus ends his contribution (and most encounters).
In a recent session, this plan didn't go so hot as the opponents were much better geared than they've encountered and basically hosed the spirits to death with automatic weaponry. This fact, combined with his general abuse of spirit summoning spamwaves for basically everything that requires combat, has me feeling that he would start having issues summoning spirits, as 'rumour' has spread that he simply abuses the power of the spirits for his own gain. Would this be a fair course of action, or is there a better option to guide away from this cheese tactic? I want to give him the opportunity to resolve the problem of his character himself for the future, before I resolve it for him through astral investigations leading some angry folks right to him when he's not prepared and resulting in rolling a new character.
Looking into this for roleplay purposes. From what I can find and also recall the class quests donβt go into much detail outside of using arcane geometry to cast spells and the summoning of carbuncles. It never really gets into what a skilled or decently powerful arcanist is capable of. In contrast conjury and thaumaturgy seem much more fleshed out in terms of what one is capable of.
Then we have BLM and WHM which feel like natural extensions of their base classes, which I guess they are since the only difference is how they cast (internal aether vs ambient aether). Arcanist splits into SMN and SCH which are completely different schools of magic (Allagan and Nymian), and it just sorta feels like arcanist just stops and never progresses further once you get your job stone.
Sorry for being super wordy but is there more to arcanist lore and Iβm just missing it, or did the class just get left by the wayside?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Welcome to the 4th part of our Curse of the Mistwraith read-along. Today we'll be diving into Chapters 9 and 10.
To begin, let's talk a little bit about Arithon shall we?
In light of the reveals of these chapters, how do you see now his overwhelming guilt? Does it make more sense?
And how about Lysaer?
We get more insight into The Seven. What do you think about their purpose?
How did you find the divination of those strands of all possible futures? And the magecraft? Raw forces, lanes, power focuses and their explanations...
And am I the only one saddened about Dakar's attitude?
In case any of you would like to discuss the finer points:
- The Fellowship are compelled to take option 3. Arithon must be king. But what about Arithon's free will? Do you think that will be affected by the decisions of the Seven?
- By hardening his heart Arithon may risk the perception inspiring his talent! Why do you think that is?
- Any questions? Or perhaps other points you'd like us to discuss?
DETAILED CHAPTER SUMMARIES
Chapter Set 9
This Chapter is again very dense and contains a lot of information that will set the course for the rest of this volume, as well as for the rest of the series as a whole. You need to pay attention here!
IX. ALTHAIN TOWER
The morning after the royal feast, Asandir and his party are getting ready for departure. Note Lysaerβs relief at being quit of the company of subjects he found disturbing, relief covered under flawless manners. And note how those manners are impressing the clansmen who believe him a worthy prince because he is pleasant to serve even after roused at dawn on the heels of a celebration. Also take note of Maien (Maenol sβGannley), Maenalleβs grandson who serves Lysaer as a page here. β Heβll play an important part later.
Arithon is furious. He wanted to seek an audience with Maenalle to speak in Grithen's behalf. He feels responsible, having baited the man for his own objective, and Grithenβs punishment is heavy for an offense not entirely of his own making. During Maenalle's approach to say farewell, he takes the opportunity to plead the manβs case but is rebuffed by the lady because:*βTysanβs scouts do not act for personal vengeance. No matter what the provocation, they are forbidden to take hostages. We are not like Rathainβs clans

Although trained in the French tradition, Umavijani is of Thai descent and therefore weaves many Eastern influences into her compositions (much to my delight as a fellow Eastern person).
Of all the fragrance houses I discovered in 2021, Dusita - together with Maison Violet and Ormonde Jayne - has emerged as one of favourites. With the notable exception of Oudh Infini, I've genuinely enjoyed every single bottle, albeit some more than others. Altogether, Dusita creates beautiful, even luminous fragrances; many would be fit for a bride on her wedding day, but there's decent variety across the board as well. Umavijani is incredibly talented, and I'll definitely be keeping an eye on her creations in the future.
Anamcara: Anamcara is a white floral bouquet with a very sweet, almost fizzy blood orange opening blended with peach nectar and a vaguely woody/earthy drydown. If Princess Peach had a signature scent, I would imagine it to smell like Anamcara; imagine a big, bubblegum tuberose flanked by orange blossom and jasmine, no shrinking violets in sight. Anamcara is beautiful and exuberant, the life of the party, the head of the Mushroom Kingdom sorority. She projects well and lasts for four to six hours on my skin. 3.7/5, as fruity florals only go so far with me.
Cavatina: If Anamcara is Princess Peach, then Cavatina would be an apt choice for her βtomboyishβ sister Daisy. Although another white floral, lily of the valley together with jasmine in Cavatina dominate over tuberose, and the bergamot opening is relatively muted in comparison to Anamcaraβs blood orange spritzer. As well, Cavatina features ambrette, a note generally reminiscent of pear rendered fuzzy, almost velvety. Altogether, Cavatina feels especially fresh, even crisp β a white tennis two-piece compared to Anamcaraβs flirty sundress. Cavatina likewise lasts for four to six hours, but her projection is a hair closer to the skin. 3.8/5.
Erawan: In the bottle, Erawan smells like a magical herbal elixir; oodles of moss, hay, and vetiver; dry and medicinal, yet oddly intoxicating, like a Chinese apothecary teeming with mysterious fungi and beetles ground into black powder. On my skin, Erawan smells like⦠moldy flax seed bread, the kind you pick up at Whole Foods to kickstart your low carb diet and then utterly d

Asandir blocking Arithon's memories? He walked a mighty fine line by not interfering directly and respecting The Law of the Major Balance. Was that right or wrong?

Chapter Set 3
III. EXILE
Lysaer, crown prince of Amroth is kidnapped by order of the High Mage of Rauven and hurled head-first through the Worldsend Gate. He wakes up in the middle of the Red Desert, under the sting of unbearable heat to discover that he has no way to return back home and is stuck in exile with only Arithon for companion.
Stabbed by grief that his royal father didnβt care enough for him and disregarded Rauvenβs warning to satisfy his vengeance, shaken because he had suddenly lost everyone that bound his pride and ambition and terrified of an unknown future away from everything heβs ever known, Lysaer looks for a scapegoat to blame and assigns the role to Arithon (βthe only living human who remained to take the blameβ)
Arithon tries to convince him he is blameless but the way he had baited the King during the trial prevents Lysaer from believing him. So he chooses to dismiss Arithonβs offer of setting differences aside and working together to survive and attacks.βSeven generations of unforgiven atrocities stand between themβ and that is reason enough for Lysaer to want to hate and kill. Humiliat

This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
