Computus Demum has been a progression-oriented raiding guild for 15 years. Our main raid nights are Wednesdays and Sundays 8-11PM EST. We do M+ Mondays, an optional Heroic/Alt run on Friday, and there’s generally action to be had every other night.
The majority of our roster are adults who have real outside commitments to things like careers and family, which we generally accommodate. However, our expectation is that you put some effort into grinding and knowing your class and playing it well. We have been slowly pushing our way higher each Mythic tier and expect to arrive at a point where we can hit CE and hopefully sustain it. We do not tolerate drama or toxicity.

In the martyrology there is a table at the beginning giving Epact, Golden Number, and Martyrology Number letter for the year, and then each day in the martyrology has what appears to be the epact and golden number for that particular day at the top, and then a table where you pick the day of the moon based on the Letter for the year.
I get why you need to know what Letter the year is, and the tables for picking the day of the moon each day based on that.
But why does it bother to give epact and golden numbers for every day? What is the history behind this? How would this information be useful on a daily basis?

Computus Demum is a World of Warcraft Raiding guild that has been around on the Eonar server since Vanilla. We are a tight knit group of players who have kept in touch over the years through our facebook group. Most of us have been on a break since Cataclysm but have returned looking to see all of the end game content. With our limited time for raiding we expect people to be respectful of everyone's time, but we also understand life happens. Loot System
We use a dkp system with a low cap to promote people using their dkp and not hoarding it. Our DKP caps at 150 and bids start at 10 and go up by 5. We give dkp at the start of the raid for being on time and at the end of the raid for staying the whole night. Occasional bonus dkp given for defeating a problem fight. You can earn 10 extra dkp during the week by donating needed materials to the guild bank.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
I guess the concept didn't work
