A list of puns related to "Commingled"
Hey all, We are going in for our marriage based interview this week. We do not have much in terms of commingled finances. The beneficiary just received her EAD a month ago so hasnβt had much income in the USA. Because of this she hasnβt paid bills, is not on our lease, etc.
How important is this aspect of the review? Is there leniency because the beneficiary has been unable to work? We do have shared health insurance, she is a beneficiary on husbandβs life insurance, and she is an authorized user on husbandβs credit card
Does this seem like enough?
Also any tips on showing she is an authorized credit card user? Can we scan the card with her name and block out the credit card number? We received zero notices from the bank about this to use as evidence. The statement doesnβt include her name either
Thanks!
Noticed tracking wasnβt updating and then I realized my mistake.
? If a single listing/page on Amazon has only one buying option: Perhaps it is Sold by Amazon and Shipped by Amazon or perhaps it is Sold by X and Shipped by Amazon, do you have to worry about commingling? Or is this just when there are multiple buying options you can select from? (I can't even find an example of a page/listing with multiple buying options to refresh my memory, but I remember them in the past.. I'm not sure if there were multiple sellers to choose from or not). Is there anything else I should know about how to avoid commingled products?
Human, all too human aphorism 15
No INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL IN THE WORLD. As Democritus transferred the concepts " above " and " below " to endless space where they have no sense, so philosophers in general have transferred the concepts " Internal " and " External " to the essence and appearance of the world ; they think that with deep feelings one can penetrate deeply into the internal and approach the heart of Nature. But these feelings are only deep in so far as along with them, barely noticeable, certain complicated groups of thoughts, which we call deep, are regularly excited ; a feeling is deep because we think that the accompanying thought is deep. But the " deep " thought can nevertheless be very far from the truth, as, for instance, every metaphysical one ; if one take away from the deep feeling the commingled elements of thought, then the strong feeling remains, ^and this guarantees nothing for knowledge but itself, just as strong faith proves only its strength and not the truth of what is believed.
Anecdotally, the problem is getting severe. I used to buy all my household basics on Amazon (shampoo, toothpaste, etc), and I've gotten a very high rate of fake products over the past 2 years or so, specifically.
Most recently, I bought a bottle of shampoo that seemed really odd and gave me a pretty serious rash on my scalp. I contacted the manufacturer, and they confirmed it was a fake. Amazon will offer to give your money back if you send it back, but that's all the protection you have as a buyer.
Since I started noticing this issue, I've gotten counterfeit batteries, counterfeit shampoo, and counterfeit guitar strings, and they were all sold by Amazon.com. It got so bad that I completely stopped using Amazon.
The bigger question is "what the hell is going on?" This didn't seem to be a problem, say, 5 years ago. I started looking into why this was the case, and I found a pretty clear answer: commingled inventory.
Basically, it works like this:
Sounds straight-forward enough, right? Here's the problem, though: Amazon treats all items with the same SKU as identical.
So, let's say I am a third-party seller on Amazon, and I am selling Crest Toothpaste. I send 100 tubes of Crest Toothpaste to Amazon for Amazon fulfillment, and then 100 tubes are listed by me on Amazon. The problem is that my tubes of Crest aren't entered into the system as "SolitaryEgg's Storefront Crest Toothpaste," they are just entered as "Crest Toothpaste" and thrown into a bin with all the other crest toothpaste. Even the main "sold by Amazon.com" stock.
You can see why this is not good. If you go and buy something from Amazon, you'll be sent a product that literally anyone could've sent in. It's basically become a big flea market with no accountability, and even Amazon themselves don't keep track of who sent in what. It doesn't matter if you buy it directly from Amazon, or a third party seller with 5 star reviews, or a third party seller with 1 star reviews. Regardless, someone (or a robot) at the warehouse is going to go to the Crest Toothpaste bin, grab a random one, and send it to you. And it could've come from anywhere.
This is especially bad because it doesn't just allow for counterfeit items, it actively encou
... keep reading on reddit β‘My husband's deadline for us to file his I-751 is coming up in November but we don't have a joint bank account. I have him as an authorized user on my credit card and we filed joint taxes every year and we are including those as evidence, but I went to the bank 3 times to try to have him added to my checking account and they keep saying that the USCIS mail is not enough for proof of address and they won't accept anything I bring in, so I haven't been able to make a joint account. I'm also including evidence of us being on the same phone plan under my mom, and she is writing an affidavit stating that we live with her. I also have photos of us with family and friends along with another affidavit from one of our friends. I'm including that he is my beneficiary for my life insurance as well as for health, vision and dental. I'm just worried that they won't think it's enough since we don't have the joint bank account. Does the other evidence provided seem like enough? Has anyone else had to file similarly to this? Is there anything else you think that I should add? Any input is helpful. Thank you.
I sell products that I manufacture and are totally unique to me. I recently sent my first batch of inventory for a product that I am launching and just realized that I sent the products labeled B00 rather than FNSKU's. After looking into it, somehow my preference got changed to manufacture number and now the Asin and FNSKU is the same.
People talk about how this is bad, but for a product that I am the only seller is that a problem?
I created another condition to get an FNSKU so I could send more inventory in with FNSKU labeling, But I don't fully understand how this works or if it is a problem that this product shows two conditions/listings in my seller central?
The one way we could actually cause a moass is if everyone had their shares sent to the Transfer agent and had names put on the shares. Then this would blow the lid because if all of the shares were taken off the market there would be a frenzy by Shwab/TD/Vangaurd all the institutions to find real shares.(They wouldn't be able to find them.)
I am having a hard time finding information on Reddit and online in general about the specific target date and commingled pool class that my company 401(k) plan invests in: "FIAM Index Target Date 2060 Commingled Pool Class R"
What is the NYSE ticker for this target fund? How does the "Commingled Pool Class R" differ from other commingled pool classes? Is it better to be in the commingled pool or a mutual fund?
been several years, and kind of lost sight that my main IRA was indeed funded by a rollover/pretax contributions, and have since added the annual contributions with after tax money.
its a decent amount, > 100k, but realize it would be really difficult to attempt to unwind it all, with prob not much benefit in the end.
thinking more efficient route is just opening a new Roth and go from there?
thanks for the feedback!

What if the IRS deposits a stimulus check into the wrong account?. i.e. They deposit it into, what was supposed to be non-commingled funds: a Social Security direct deposit account.
Neither the bank, nor the IRS, will reverse the deposit.
Might a Trustee use this new "commingling" to make the entire account's funds non-exempt?
I'm doing well in my retirement savings journey so far (30M) and I'm currently maxing a roth 401k, roth ira, and HSA.
I've read the wiki and understand the 3 fund portfolio bogleheads strategy that I currently employ. (70% total us stock, 20% intl stock, 10% us bonds).
When discussing my 401k returns with my coworker I noticed he had 18% YTD vs my 9% or so and we realized that he is invested in the fidelity growth commingled pool find. Upon further inspection, I noticed it had returned 46.8% ytd and 68.6% on the rolling 1 year compared to the vanguard total stock index I'm using returning 5.5% and 15.0% respectively. It's also returned 20.5% annually since inception in 2013 (I know that's cherry picking but hey)
Since then I've been debating going all in on this fund in particular after looking at the holdings and returns to 10% bonds, remainder here. I've got plenty of time to bear the risk and the expense ratio is reasonable (0.43 net vs the incredibly low 0.02 for VSMPX)
What would you guys do? Anyone taken the risk in the past and have a story to tell about how bad getting burnt felt so I can get this one out of my head and back to believing in my lazy 3 fund portfolio?
Hi all,
I'm receiving this error message from Amazon when I try and book out a shipment on a new product.
Does anyone know how I can change this?

Hello /r/tax,
My. core question regarding a Roth IRA conversion of a commingled tIRA via Reverse Rollover has been answered in a few places (e.g. https://www.reddit.com/r/tax/comments/gocw3b/reverse_rollover_and_backdoor_roth_of_comingled/), but I had some complicating factors that I wanted to check with the community. Namely, those factors are:

Question:
Is it also something that buyers and sellers should worry about? I heard that commingled inventory allows you to potentially get counterfeit goods from other sellers.
