The corpus callosum facilitates communication from one hemisphere to the other allowing us to multitask, or think about multiple things at once--most of this is done at an unconscious level. For example, one part of the brain can follow the melody of a song and another part can listen to and sing the lyrics. Music activates many parts of the brain and the corpus callosum assists in this communication.
The optic chiasm sends signals from one part of each eye (the left and right visual fields) to the appropriate part of the brain. This crossover occurs near the base of the frontal lobe and is not near the corpus callosum.
The brain stem is where the crossover occurs in terms of the right hemisphere controlling the left side of the body and the left brain controlling the right side.
Hi, I would like to share the latest puzzle I solved on Beats and Pieces. It's the four-piece aluminum puzzle called Chiasma by Turkish puzzle designer Yavuz Demirhan. It looks very simple but is actually really complex to solve. I'm very impressed with this one.

Has anyone had luck (divinely ordained providence) preaching texts which are structured as chiasma? Everytime I preach them I have two issues. First, explaining chiasma is too heavy and academic for a sermon. Second, the structure does not automatically connect with western minds. So I'm picking the collective brains of /r/Reformed. Have you heard it done well? How have you handled it?
Start from the middle and work out in parallel? Start from the outside and work in? Start from the beginning and work to the end?
