Does anyone else feel this way? Obviously I'm saying this as someone who has tried ~100 times to get my carrier into Alcor so there is an element of selfishness to it, but at the same time I'd have absolutely 0 problem in getting kicked out of a system if I hadn't logged in for even a little bit. To an extent I think this should really only apply to GC systems, and not necessarily all systems, but at the same time on a long enough time scale as carrier ownership creeps upwards more and more systems will become less usable. Maybe there can be a tiering approach?
Obviously this sounds like me complaining about the current situation in Alcor, and I'll concede that it 100% is, but I feel like something like the suggestions above can help facilitate a healthy flow of carriers, trade, and opportunities during community goals. Plus, it would apply to me too, and I'd be happy to get moved out if I'm not contributing/actively participating in something.
The one other thing I feel like the system absolutely needs is a carrier route planner that jumps automatically after cooldowns and a warp in queue, so that if multiple people are moving their carriers into a system a line is set up and they get warped in accordingly when space frees up.

... keep reading on reddit β‘Dayz should have a much more realistic plate carrier system, and I think the developers can easily implement it. Basically, instead of being able to repair plates carriers with LEATHER SEWING KITS and EPOXY PUTTY we should be able to replace the plates within the carrier, and different levels of protection, such as IJ level 3 protecting from rifles and being the highest level of protection, down to Level 3A and Kevlar inserts protecting from smaller handgun rounds such as 9mil.
And plates would be just as hard to find as plate carriers, either found on zombies or industrial spawn where clothes would be normally found etc.
Level 3A could be easily found at crashed police car trunks or rarely at police stations, and Kevlar inserts at police stations easily, although they would be useless mid game if you don't have a plate carrier already.
Plate carriers could already spawn with different levels of protection on both sides in pristine condition.
I say this because it's quite heft to carry a plate carrier that's 20KG almost just to defend against 9mil rounds and sometimes rifle rounds and also being able to carry just one plate carrier in the front and none at the back or a weaker plate at the back such as 3A or Kevlar instead of having two big heavy plates on both sides of your body.
Maybe more molle attachments such as bottle carriers and utility pouches?
What do you guys think? Would it be more complicated or harder or would it make things much easier in the long term?

I've always understood that the carrier controls updates to your phones, regardless of their status as carrier-locked or not. I'm getting conflicting information on another sub (r/mintmobile), where it's claimed that Samsung directly controls the rollout. Before I ported out of VZW earlier this week, I seemed to get my updates on a schedule that differed from other carriers and aligned with what I heard from other VZW carrier-locked owners.
Does anyone have the authoritive answer?
Many of the posts here seem to be not well informed in how to make the Nest thermostat work with the Carrier System. I understand that I will lost some functionality if I rewire the system, but I also want to see if I will notice the issue once its installed. I honestly rather have the smart capability than a non-smart thermostat.
I have more than enough wires between my system and my thermostat. Its just they are labeled ABCD right now.
Wanted to see if anyone else has had any success and if they enjoy the nest thermostat or should I just suck it up and use the old generic infinity thermostat.

I just ordered a Velocity Systems LEPC, wondering if others who have a LEPC could upload a pic so I could see how you run your setup. Also if anyone knows of a pack I could run with it?
I have 2016 LG G5 H830 that I bought from an electronics store. They said it may have been a Metro PCS phone which is now T-Mobile. It had all the T-Mobile apps and unlock app on it when I purchased it, but so far the regular TM CS phone people say they cannot unlock the phone. I have heard people say you just need to escalate to people with authority at T-Mobile who can actually do it by getting it "whitelisted"
The phone is free and clear on all IME checks. Services online want to charge 150 to unlock it.
I think it's ridiculous they won't do it for a longtime customer.
